"That's an arachnid," her assistant corrected as he looked down at the reading then up at the girl. The redhead was cute, perky and showing no sign of the imminent transformation. Well, perhaps a slight darkening of the skin. "An arachnataur to be presise, with the body of a spider and the torso of a woman."
"I don't care what it is. Turning a willing girl into one, or punishing a theif, is one thing but, if this girl doesn't like the transformation, we could get sued!"
"Well, legally we're covered against that," the assistant reported, "and we had no idea that she was here involuntarily until we started. Besides, all our transformees are guarenteed to come out cute and cuddly so she'll have nothing to complain about."
"Cute and cuddly?" Marylin demanded in stark disbeleif. "How can that be cute and cuddly?" She shivered. "All those creepy legs and bug eyes and ... yetch."
"Arachnaphobia?" the assistant asked. "Well, what you need is a positive experience with a spider girl!"
"That never works," Marylin told him flatly, remembering the aluriphobe they'd tried to cure with a 'positive experience with a catgirl'. It had been an absolute disarster. "Thank you but no. I'll pass."
"In any case," the assistant commented blithely, "the girl's transformation sequence is about to begin."
