*BANG*
The entire room went silent as the pistol went off. The officer mentally commended himself for using blanks instead of real bullets, otherwise this would have been even more unsettling.
"Now that I have your attention, I am from the JSDF, I've come for to pick up Ranma, and to make negotiations for his release into our custody."
"Hold on there, did you say release to your custody?" Ukyo asked.
The officer just nodded. "In order for the Flower Division to work properly they need to train and interact with each other. Besides, Ranma is a captain and has his reponsibilities as a leader."
"Shampoo no let you take Ranma!" The amazon leaped with her bonburis held high, however the JSDF are well prepared.
*ZAP*
Shampoo dropped like a rock, the officer pocketed the tazer and looked around. "Which one of you is Genma Saotome?"
The fat, bald headed martial artist was quick to answer. "I am Genma Saotome."
The officer quickly whipped out a pen and document. "This is the document to release Ranma to us. Please let me read these negotiable terms which Ranma shall be provided."
Genma snorted, "Why are you bothering with this? The boy ain't going anywhere."
The officer just continued, "Ranma will be provided furnished living quarters with the govenment covering all electrical and water billing, this of course extends to the family of Ranma as well."
Nabiki cocked an eyebrow, if they didn't need to pay for water and electrical they would save quite a bit.
Genma looked irritated, "Why bother me with this? Ranma is not go..."
The officer kept going like nothing happened. "He will be given a salary of 300,000 yen a week."
"...ing to disappoint you." Genma finished.
"So you will release Ranma to us?" The officer asked.
"Give me that pen," Genma snatched the pen quickly scribbled his name and grinned. "the boy's all yours."
"Thanks a lot pops." Ranma growled.
The officer pocketed the document and signalled to Ranma. "Come on captain you must be taken to headquarters immediately."
"Alright, alright, let me get my pack first." Ranma muttered and ran up-stairs.
"Curse you Saotome! I you sorcery ends here!' Kuno attempted to give chase, however suddenly three policemen ran in, tazered Kuno, cuffed him, and dragged him away.
The let a smug grin slip through his calm demeanor. "As you can see, Ranma is now part of the JSDF, any hostility toward him will result in prosecution." Ranma came back down the stairs again with his pack slung on one shoulder. "We shall be going now, good day." The officer led Ranma to a waiting limo that took them away. The NWC could only stare at the fading vehicle.
"Ranma's has become untouchable to us." Ukyo said, the tears already starting to fall.
"No Ranma darling please come back to me!"
"Hmph let that jerk go to his army of girls. I can save Japan without him."
"Oooooo Shampoo no feel so good."
