'That entire business with Rezo only took three days off my schedule. I have a little bit of time to play before Phil hires me. This time.... Nah. A trip to Seyruun sound like the perfect way to avoid any lingering business with Rezo. So my pay gets blown up temporarily.'
Lina smiled and hummed, as she walked along.
"You seem to be cheerful this morning, Lina," Gourry said.
"I am. I'm going to make it to Atlas City a few days before Prince Phil arrives."
"Who?"
"Crown Prince Philonel of Seyruun," Lina answered. "He's taking a tour of the countryside."
Gourry asked, "How will you recognize him?"
Lina tilted her head back to look at the sky. "He's kind of hard to miss. At any rate, since I'm going to be arriving early, I can do something while I'm waiting."
'Like set the Philosopher's Stone inside something, so I can use its power without losing it.'
After Lina and Gourry arrived in Atlas and got rooms, Lina waved at Gourry
"What are you up to?" Gourry asked.
Lina smiled broadly. "I have something that I want to try out. I'll meet you back at the inn. I need to do some magic."
"Later Lina," Gourry said.
Lina went into an abandoned building, that Atlas City officials left up for sorcerers to have privacy during spellcasting.
'Here I go,' Lina thought, as she set up her stuff to do talisman making.
Pulling the Philosopher's Stone out, she removed her left earring. She slowly twisted the earring and opened it up. She turned it over and shook it. A small diamond fell out and into her palm.
'I have a better use for that space, instead of hiding emergency money.'
Lina pocketed the diamond and placed the Philosopher's Stone where the gem used to be. Lina twisted the earring back into its normal position and recited some chants.
'Now, just tapping the earring will grant me the Stone's powers. Another tap will turn it off.'
After putting her stuff away, Lina stood up and stretched.
"Done. Hidden in plain sight," Lina said.
Walking back to the inn, Lina looked off into the distance. Her good mood evaporated.
'Darkstar. I have got a little bit of time. I do have to rescue Prince Phil first. Afterwards, I can deal with you. I do want to keep Galvayra.'
Lina met Gourry back at the inn. Lina and Gourry quickly got into a battle over the food that they were eating. During the fight, Lina made a decision.
'I'll just let things happened like last time. I can do some research while I'm waiting. Maybe, I should finally learn how to cast Ra Tilt. If I have to fight anymore Mazoku uderground,....'

The days passed, while Lina waited for the proper day. During that time, she researched the spell Ra Tilt. She bit her lower lip in anger, since she couldn't find any information on the White Magic spell: Resurrection.
'Still a Preist or Preistess' spell,' Lina thought. 'That, I'll use the Clair Bible manuscript to find.'
On the appropriate day, Lina went to the crossroads and waited like she did last time. Like before, Gourry got bored and wandered off.
'See you later, when you have Amelia in tow,' Lina thought.
After the sun hit the horizion, Lina went back into town and started eating at a resturaunt. After a bit, two people entered. Lina recognized them as Prince Phil and Randy.
'Time to go. This time, I'll be a bit more careful when setting up my bath.'
