Yosho's Girls: Having Slaves Doesn’t Make You Free. [Episode 119847]

by Deadpan

Yosho had become a priest as part of his desire for a quiet, contemplative life. Unfortunately, aspects of his past and his nature had not remained hidden, and once he became known as a demon-binding warrior-priest he was drawn into conflicts with the supernatural. With Funaho rooted and his key keeping Ryoko bound, he was unable to leave the area surrounding the valley for very long. Fortunately he had acquired (sometimes by choice, often through fate or necessity) a stable of slaves with their own abilities whom he could train and send forth on his behalf. Sending women into danger ran counter to the very nature of his soul, but it always seemed that someone would have to do the job and that someone had to be these women or someone just like them. He could train them with the physical and spiritual skills they needed to come home again, but still he burned with shame each time he sent them forth. And despite his teaching and their courage, sometimes they did not come back to him.

So he trained his slaves mercilessly, driving them until they colapsed and then driving them further, so that he could see their faces again. Every man who became his student had Yosho’s need to protect women carved into their soul as well before he would teach them more than the fundamentals.

Now was the crucial hour. His past was about to come back to haunt him. Ryoko’s past would surely come for her. Mother’s home world had its own specters of the past about to rise from their tombs. So he sent his girls forth again, allowed Tenchi to take the keys from him, and prayed to Tsunami and the gods of this world that he had taught them all he could and that it would be enough.

So who are Katsuhito’s girls?
