For this was the only symbiote that found killing and maiming people a very relaxing and satisfying hobby...
However, killing is a hobby the symbiote hasn't gotten to enjoy in a long time. It was almost a decade since Spiderman and Venom teaming up against its host, to combat Cassidy... And the two succeeded in stopping the serial killer.
That was not the end of the carnage symbiote. It had been taken, and preserved in a small cryo-stasis tube. One which soon ended up in the hands of Sinister.
The symbiote had memories of being freed. Something happened at where it was being kept. Wether someone was breaking out, or breaking in, the symbiote could not tell. Whatever happened, it destroyed the cooling tanks that were connected to the cryo-stasis tube. With time, the Symbiote regained its pliability and made it's way free.
However, it has been so long. It has yet to find a suitable host, and if it did not find one soon, it would surely break down and decompose into a waste product. It needed fresh DNA, fresh living cells to bond with. Oh, what it wouldn't do, just to be around the likes of Shriek, Doppleganger, Carrion, and Demogoblin again. Those four were geniuses when it came to killing and causing overall chaos.
The symbiote started to slow down in its slow sliding motion along the ground. It felt itself getting weaker. It needed a host, it needed to draw BLOOD!
As if to answer its prayer, the symbiote could sense it. Blood was spilling from some source, trailing across the ground and running along the symbiote, revitalizing it. The symbiote followed the trail of blood, desperate to reach the, (hopefully) living source!
Mousse groaned as he grasped at his chest. Whatever weapon was used on him, he was hurt. He felt the blood pouring from the deep gash on his chest, drenching his white robes into a crimson mess. "Damn that Ranma..." The myopic fighter moaned softly. He couldn't stand this. He couldn't stand losing to such a cheap technique.
Mousse however, did not get to think about it much more. Nor would he ever think in his right mind again. Mousse didn't have time to scream as what felt like a very moist putty covered his head. He convulsed and shook his body, he could feel whatever the stuff was covering him completely, seeping deep into his chest.
Then the worst part for Mouse happened, as his mind was warped beyond recognition. He saw memories which were not his own, sights of blood, death, and fire. He could hear people screaming for their lives, which were abruptly brought to a bloody end. Soon, Mousse's mind shut down, as to protect itself from such horrors.
When it was over, the symbiote took form over Mousse's body. It smiled a cruel, inhuman smile as it thought about its new host. The idea of hidden weapons was a second nature to this symbiote, as it could form its basic cellular structure into weapons, as it was taught how to by its last host, Cassidy.
The new symbiote-weilding-Mousse turned to look at Ranma, who was fighting against Cologne. "LOOK OUT JAPAN, CARNAGE IS BACK AND HE'S IN YOUR TOWN! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHEHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
And with that, the new Carnage jumped into the fray, ready to start make its first kills in the longest time...
