Kuno was basking in the sun, enjoying this wonderful Sunday morning, his eyes closed as he sat on his favorite beach chair.
“Ah, tis a perfect day, the sun raining upon our fairest of cities, cascading the people in the most blessed of light!” Tatewaki Kuno declared, stretching out a bit. “The only way this day could possibly be better is if my beloved Akane and the pigtailed goddess were to-- OW!” Tatewaki bolted upright as something landed full force between his legs, his hakama providing little protection as it hit him flush in the crotch. He struggled to open his eyes, which were now wet with tears as the pain surged through him. “That hurts...”
Looking down at him, he found a bottle apparently made of a very thick glass, a label marking the smoky liquid as “Penasu.”
“This is interesting,” Kuno muttered aloud, holding the glass with one hand while rubbing his sore tools. “Perhaps this is a blessing from the gods in a clever disguise...” He groaned as he forced himself up off the chair, his nads still throbbing painfully from the impact. He limped his way into his mansion, confident that the vastness of the Kuno library would yield some information on this mysterious compound that fell in his lap.
