Ranma settled into a fighting stance. Kasumi had screwed up! The only thing her disguise did for her was keep people from connecting this form to Saotome Ranma. It offered no protection whatsoever from marauding boys and their hormone-soaked carcases. In fact, it might have made the problem worse.
Well, there's nothing for it, thought Ranma-chan regretfully as she launched herself at the crowd, ready to beat them as Akane did all those months before.
"HALT, KNAVES!" came a loud, authoritive, and very familiarly pompous voice. The crazed pack of boys and Ranma alike screeched to a halt. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice, although all knew who it was.
As expected, Kunou Tatewaki, the self-proclaimed 'Blue Thunder' of Furinkan High, had stepped out from behind his damn tree.
Oh, son of a bitch!! thought Ranma, falling out her stance, suddenly drained of strength. Of all the idiots who could've interrupted this fight, it had to be HIM!
As expected, when he opened his mouth, stupidity fell out. "I had come to greet the beauty that Tendou Akane-kun had spoke of, and I see that she is a beauty indeed," the Blue Blunder of Furinkan High began grandiosely as Ranma glared daggers at him. "Ah, what a loving gaze she is directing at my noble self!" Kunou sighed, blushing under the intense glare Ranma was giving him.
World of his own, folks.
"Ummm... what's the matter, Kunou-sempai?" asked one of the boys tentatively.
Kunou directed a glare at the boy, who gulped under the intensity of his gaze. (Say anything you will about Kunou, he has the talent to intimidate the fertilizer out of most young freshmen.)
"What is wrong?!" asked the upperclassman in disbelief. "No sooner does this fair maiden arrive at our noble establishment, than you rabble attack her like common vagabonds! Explain yourself!"
With that harsh admonishment, the males present fell the their knees in self-abasing bows. "We're sorry, sempai! We thought that if we defeated her that we would be allowed to date her, like with Tendou Akane!" pleaded one of the students.
"It is quite alright, now that you realize your error."
More bowing. "Again, we apologize! We only wanted permission to pursue this beautiful girl."
