Up in a branch of a tree on school grounds a small, dirty old man watched as Ranma was sent out of the classroom for sleeping. Happosai had been in the tree when Ranma had blasted a teacher with his ki attack for waking him up.
Something was up with that bastard Genma's son. Happosai rarely if ever truly respected anyone but he respected Ranma even if he did make the boy's life a little harder.
Ranma never bowed down to him while he was doing something wrong. The boy would keep fighting him even though he knew he was outmatched. Ranma even defeated a descendant of a dragon and killed a demi-god in battle.
Happosai shook his head in disappointment. Of the four students in the Anything Goes School only Ranma passed his tests with flying colors. Soun and Genma were worthless since both of them were total cowards. Soun couldn't even be considered a martial artist anymore while Genma had totally dragged his family's name and the school throught the mud. Akane wasn't even a martial artist even though she said she was one. Happosai knew Ranma (And he agreed with Ranma) considered Akane a thug or a bully.
Happosai considered Ranma the best hope for his school and he had better have a talk with him. Happosai knew that he had to apologize to Ranma for drinking the so-called cure to the curse however the old man knew it wasn't a cure.
Happosai knew that you can't cure a curse with another curse. Happosai knew the water would have mixed the two curses together.
The old man considered the young warrior in front of him and nodded. Tonight would be the best time to talk. For now he would just watch and interfere if things got out of hand.

Tofu's Office
Once in the past Tofu would have considered courting the eldest Tendo daughter but due to her behavior concerning Ranma he was past his crazy stage.
The doctor frowned as he considered Kasumi's actions against Ranma. She didn't cook for him anymore and the doctor knew that Kasumi would shed no tears if the young man died. Kasumi let Akane do all the cooking for Ranma knowing how bad it was.
The doctor remembered from more than 10 years ago how the Tendo family was when Kimiko Tendo was alive. A more perfect family could not be found. That changed when Kimiko died.
Soun proved to be a disgrace as he was still suffering an emotional breakdown. Because Soun failed to break from his suffering his daughters dealt with their mother's death in an unhealthy way. Kasumi buried every thing bad under layers of goodness and failed to see the bad in others (except Ranma since she blames him for destroying the wedding). Nabiki became a cold-blooded mercenary only interested in money. Akane lost control of her emotions and her temper controlled her.
Dr. Tofu shook his head at how much the death of Kimiko affected the lives of Tendo family so negatively.

A very beautiful and shapely teacher was sitting in her office thinking of a student. When Hinako was first brought here and from what she heard blamed everything wrong with the school on Ranma. As time passed she saw the true reasons the school was so bad and it wasn't Ranma.
Hinako found a genius mind in Ranma's head and nurtured it to learn outside the martial arts. His grades skyrocketed and the teacher was amazed at his progress. It amazed her that since Ranma had basically no education (Hinako guessed that this was deliberate by Genma and Nodoka so they can control him through his ignorance) his grades were incredible.
Hinako had even talked to some colleges telling them Ranma's story. A lot of colleges were impressed with Ranma and his grades due to his life. Ranma even had some scholarships waiting for him when he graduated high school.
She was worried about Ranma since he was acting more and more out of character. Hinako kept something secret from every one there and that was that she was in love with the young man in question.
