She couldn't help herself, she just had to look back. And she wondered...
Just what sort of...oddities would she find inside?
Would she go inside?
She paused a moment and realized that she had already decided to do so.
It was a very little time later that she was walking into the restaurant a little behind another...umm girl.
"So, uh, what sort of splice are you?" the beagle-like waitress was asking the person ahead of her.
The girl ahead of her had purple hair, or was it fur? and black, fox-like ears sitting atop her head and a pair of small, sharp looking horns, jutting out of her hairless forehead over a pair of closed eyes that sat over a knowing little smirk. Out from under a modest seeming skirt, a long and slender, black tail snaked out.
"Now that...is a secret," the girl said, eyes still seeming to be closed, though Naru thought she caught a glimmer of golden irises under nearly shut lids.
"Uh, right," the waitress said. "I'll show you to your table." The two ahead of her walked off toward the girl's seat and Naru's gaze turned away from them.
Then it was that Naru heard an uproarious laughter and Naru turned to see a...cat-girl with wings?
She stepped forward to get a closer look and then looked down to see a black cat with a characteristic white, moon-shaped marking.
Naru gasped.
"Usagi!!?"
