Hinako was in pain as tears formed in her eyes. The teacher tried to stop the bleeding with her hands. All thanks to the bandanna attack thrown by Ryoga. Through the tears Hinako's eyes narrowed and burned with anger at the dishonorable pig. Ranma had his back turned from refusing Ryoga's challenge. Ranma had truly wanted the fighting to end.
By the time she had seen the blind rage in Ryouga it was too late. It was only thanks to Ranma's skills that he had won. Hinako had watched the battle and her eyes widened in amazement when Ranma did that 'Fukei' technique.
Hinako could see that Ranma was still very angry at Ryoga but mostly himself.
"Ranma." Hinako called out weakly.

Seeing one of his best friends, if not his best friend was bleeding from a large bandanna wound inflicted by Ryoga made Ranma very depressed.
Suddenly he had a vision of a woman bleeding and reaching his hands out to her that were glowing with light. Ranma heard the spoken words. "Inner Healing."
As he watched the redhaired woman's wounds healed before his eyes.
He heard Hinako's voice calling to him.

"I'm sorry Hinako-sensei if only I..." Ranma began.
"Do not blame yourself Ranma. It was not your fault. You tried to do the right thing by trying to stop the meaningless fighting. It was that dishonorable, cowardly pig's fault I am injured so don't blame yourself." Hinako softly said.
"Hold on Hinako-sensai." Ranma concentrated and murmured two words. "Inner Healing."
Ranma's hands began to glow and then he extended them to Hinako's wound. Before everyone's eyes the bleeding stopped and the wound started to close up. A minute later the wound closed up and color returned to Hinako's face. Ranma was tired but smiling at his work. Hinako was checking with her hands for the wound but to her amazement it was gone.
Turning back to Ranma she asked one question. "What did you just do, Ranma?"
