But then he was also dazed and confused, as things had seemed to take an odd perspective. It was obvious that something major had happened to him, but he wasn't immediately able to see just what that was. All he could tell was that something seemed to be... shifted, at least, and a weight was gone, but beyond that, he couldn't tell what exactly either had done.

It was just... there... or not...

He rubbed his face, and tried to focus on what he knew at the moment. There had been a hit from some sort of attack, he'd been hit, and then he'd woken up to this. That wasn't a lot to work with, but he wasn't exactly getting a big update on the situation. So he considered what he did know, and tried to come up with some theory about what had happened.

And in that moment, it became clear that he was:

• free of all the dark feelings, like anger, fear and hate, that he'd been having.
• feeling much better than he had in years, and fairly wanted to dance in the street.
• feeling much better than he had in years. What he didn't know was that all the bad stuff he'd accumlated because of Happosai and Genma was gone.
• freed of something that had been hanging onto him.
• only acting so excited simply by rote.
• having some sort of reaction.
