There would be many who would jump to the wrong conclusion if they saw the woman looking down from the small balcony to him on the street. After all, the hair colors and style were only seen once before: on the Musk Prince Herb.
Wrong.
One had to remember that Musk society, while no longer following the old traditions of cursing and locking animals to get wives, still was a society that raised the genders separately. So it was not much of a shock the Musk Prince hadn’t learned he had a sibling until his own bridal meeting.
Sure, she teased her sometime-sister, was weary of the fact her brother wanted to understand females yet saw a need to lock a monkey—really, why lock the monkey at all, how often did one find hot springs around Jusenkyo?—and listened to his tales of Ranma.
So, she left the Musk Kingdom and sought him out. Unlike her brother, she wasn’t in line for the throne—unless of course Herb preferred to be a Princess, in which case since she was born first, it would fall to her—and certainly wasn’t going to stand by and wait for her parents to make some sort of engagement for her.
She saw the ‘woman’—if one could call her that—that her brother was to marry. One would expect them to offer a bride that didn’t embody the worst aspects of the Gorilla Clan. And since the fathers were delusional enough to think it was a perfect match, she wasn’t going to stand by and let it happen to her. She’d already heard her father’s drunken ramblings about a possible engagement to the Boar Clan.
Like hell!
So she came to Nerima, seeking him out. Not that she knew why, just that it sounded like an adventure.
And they had met and hit it off. Ranma liked that she wasn’t here for revenge, marry him, or use him. She listened, chatted, and even helped him on occasion by teaching him some Musk styles.
Oh, he’d admit there was some perverse joy in how she teased her cursed brother—made him glad his own mother hadn’t shown up with a Ranko.
It had been one such evening when things turned sexual, after some rampaging demons in a nearby ward tried to sneak into some bars in southern Nerima—apparently they’d been cut off before, and were a bit upset when they couldn’t get served.
Spice smiled as she waved at him, inviting him up. He looked like he needed to talk again.
Well, he looked like he needed a bath too, that was his sleepwear. Good thing the furo in her apartment was meant for more than one—only the best for a Princess with a rich bank account. Besides, watching how her brother reacted to his pairing, he might need a place to hide out from such a violent gorilla-like tomboy get his head straight.
Smiling, she leapt from the balcony into his waiting arms, deciding she had waited long enough, her mouth soon smashed against his own, as their tongues fell into a familiar duel.
“Miss me?” asked a smiling Ranma, as he pulled back from her lips.
“I always miss you, lover-boy,” she purred, her dragon eyes filled with mischief.
Ranma smiled, but his eyes quickly narrowed. “What did you do?”
“Let’s just say that today will be a day you won’t soon forget.”
