Life continued peacfully in the forested glen, where just a week before time and space was rent assundered to discharge it's lone displaced traveler. The breeze blew softly, cooling the warm day. Multiple bird sang through the forest, while a lone Titmouse popped her head out from the brush, sniffing around before starting to emerge from her safe hiding spot. As she made her way further out, her head popped up, something alerting her to empending danger, as the once soft breeze whipped itself into a harsh gale. The once singing birds took wing, while the lone Titmouse scampered back off for safety. The wind continued to build, the sky darkening above the glade as a swirling black ball of energy in the center of it.
The ball of energy swelled, pulsing and throbbing as the energy continued to build up, small debre whipping through the air, before the ball exploded in a mass of bright light and sound, spitting four figures out into the quickly dieing wind. The screams of surprize were the only music filling the air as the figures fell quickly towards the ground.
Shampoo landed in a crouch, the heavy backpack pushing her down further as she took the weight, while Akane was able to land on her feet, only with a cry of surprize as her own backpack pulled her back, windmilling her arms as she toppled her backwards. Ukyo managed to make her own safe landing just before she lunged to the right to catch the plummeting Nabiki.
"oooph, Gotcha sugar." Ukyo chuckled as she helped Nabiki to her feet.
Nabiki brushed herself off, adjusting her own, smaller pack as she collected herself. "Thanks Ukyo. I owe you one."
Ukyo chuckled, "Don't worry sugar, you can pay me back with a month of free advertising when we get home." before she turned to help Akane back up to her feet.
Nabiki jaw started to drop before she caught herself, growling softly before she collected herself again. She looked around at the forest around her and then up to the sky, where the remains of the portal closed itself, the wind and glade slowly returning to normal. "Well, that was definetly some first step. Shampoo, is the lense still good." as she turned to look at the Amazon.
Shampoo stood as she looked around the forest herself, taking notice of the rather large game trail skirting through the glade, while the sound of a gurgling stream came off from a way to her right. "Aiyaaa, Shampoo good, and Traveler's Lense safe too." as she held up the artifact that hung around her neck, before slipping it down into her dress. "Is too too safe now." smiling widely as she nodded.
Akane muttered a soft thanks to Ukyo as she started to brush herself off. "Great now that we're all here and sounding off, how do we start to find Ranma?" as she looked at the other three girls.
