"Michuru just did Jacques?!!?" the Kitty Hawk Moon Princess squeaked. "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..." Her glowing fur began to take on a bilious tinge.
Her Panthress advisor smirked. "You must admit, however," she added as an aside, "That it would break her from her bigotry about Splicers." She seveloped a slight blush that began to glow through her sable fur. "Reptiloids can do soooooo much with their tails..." she sighed.
Princess Serenity twitched once, massively, then settled herself. "Granted," she allowed. "But our discussion is on what the Queen My Mother had planned to one day replace the Silver Millenium."
Pluto sighed. It had come down to this. "I talked with her," the panther-woman admitted, "as she lay dieing." She waved at the Time Gates, where a image began to form...
Upon a patch of marble that was rapidly being covered with an ashy dust spralled the pale skinned monarch. She had seen that her heir and beloved child had managed to escape the final destruction. Her face broke into a small smile as the last of her life-energy began to sputter. Maybe, in some future time, the children will be able to escape the mistakes that she made...
"Your highness!" a panicked voice cried out. The dieing queen let her head roll over, to look into the slitted ruby pupils of her oldest advisior. "Not 'highness', Setsuna," she sighed. "I'm just Selene."
Setsuna dropped to her knees and cradled her friend's head. "Why YOU!" she shrieked.
Selene lifted her hand and patted her on the leg once. "Help them," she sighed. "And if they decide to create something other than what we have..." Her voice faded, as the light of life dimmed in her eyes. "...then... help them... make it... work." And, with that, the Moon Kingdom ended.
Setsunaa cradled the lifeless body and wailed to the darkening skies...
Pluto looked into the sky-blue orbs of her future Queen, her own ruby eyes filled with bitter tears. "I wanted to return to what we had," she admitted. "It wasn't perfect, but it was all that I ever knew."
Serenity sighed. "That will change," she stated. "From now on, we work to make the New Kingdom accepting for all. To begin, a punishment for our errant Senshi must be devised..." Upon her feline face grew a smile that fit her features to a T.
The senshi of Time's ears swivled to face directly at her ruler. "Such as?" she inquired, her own smirk going from ear to ear..."
Haruka slumped onto the ratty sofa, kicking the stack of empty beer-cans off the table. She fell onto the dusty cushions and slid her left hand into the waistband of her slacks as her right hand snatched up the remote and used it to turn on the entertainment system...
...Which displayed the head of a white-furred and silver-haired cat-girl. Said felinoid stared from the screen, directly at the blinking blond, then began to speak to her.
"Haruka Tenou!" the cat-girl growled. "You have violated my trust!"
The senshi of Uranus stabbed at the remote. The channel changed, to reveal...
...The same cat-girl, continuing without pause. "Because of that, I find you wanting; I am deciding what punishment will be suitable."
Haruka pressed the channel button again. The same picture appeared.
"I will see you in an hour," the catgirl finished.
Haruka snarled at the set. "Who does this freak think she is?"
A voice spoke from directly behind her, as a silvery light filled the room. "I believe," came a duclet voice, filled with ice, "that I am your Princess..."
