Froderick pursed his lips. "Then he has created life for all his strife?"
"No... I think that he's merely given the... impetus. It's like striking two rocks together to get fire. Sometimes you have to do it many times to get a proper spark. But he seems to have talent in that direction."
"But what problems would this bring, when dealing with this thing?"
"To be honest? A great many, some of which we can't even consider now. Essentially the boy's created these maids, and they are totally loyal and focused on him. They do not question his orders, though they do have their own quirks."
"Oh? How is that so?"
"I'm not sure, but I think that it maybe the way the spells being crafted, or how he's thinking of it." Garson stroked his beard. "He's using his power so hard that he's actually pushing it beyond the 'construct' phase. Which would work great in some cases, but he's caused some dilemmas..."
"Of what is that?"
"Your student's created people. That in and of itself is a major deal, you have to admit."

It is a spell that would possibly allow someone to create a person to their needs and desires. And in doing so, that 'creation' would have to live with that. A person would have some rights, but in essence, they would be a creation. How much could, and should we give them, and should we make them at all?"
"It is much to think about, and will likely be fought about. For I can see certain things that each of them brings. Would there be no way to... rework the spell, so that it all would be well?"
"He could possibly pull it back enough to make any creation into a magical construct, but that would not stop someone else from advancing his work."
"You know, I've already realised that I've had some problems here," Ranma muttered from where he sat slumped down in his chair. "You don't have to talk like I'm not here."
The other two raised brows at him, and gave him knowing looks while:
