Sailor Pulp: Jack and Jill watch from a hill (WAFF) [Episode 129020]

A dog laid, nose under tail, with a cat almost hidden by his bulk. They watch, with slow eyes as a Young girl made her way up long steps to live with her grandfather. Two Ravens trailed behind, cawing scornfully at the pair.

"I could claw them," muttered Graymalk, as the two birds fallowed their mistress up.

"Their just being protective," Snuff responded. "They don't know who we are, and I doubt Jill would appreciate you killing the animal companions of her descendent."

"So she has..." the cat trailed off.

"Not sure. I can calculate it tonight. Won't matter though. She'll still be young when the night comes, and our masters won't involve a descendents of theirs at that age. They wanted to keep them all out, and even if this one can't due to the strength of herr gifts, they'll keep it up as long as they can"

"Jill wasn't any older, when we met." She sighed, "I'm not looking forward to 2001."

"Me either."
