Lamp Of Mihoshi: The (Persona) Death of Ranma [Episode 12909]

Everyone looked to where the glow slowly dissipated around Ranma and he just stood there with a blank expression.

"What did you do?" Nabiki finally asked.

"Well, part of the wish is based on the wisher's heart and intentions, you know, and while it was just for a minute there," Mihoshi began explaining, fidgeting a lot, "she basically wanted him to be a mindless zombie. So he is. His body's alive but his soul - his personality and all that - they're gone. He's completely obedient to Akane here now."

"Ranmaaaa! What kind of stupid stunt are you pulling now!" Akane raged at her blankly staring fiance.

"Awaiting orders, mistress," came the almost mechanical response.

"Well, I've got to be going," said Mihoshi. "Someone in Juuban who is actually one of the Sailor Senshi is going to find my lamp next. I hope she does better than Ranma here. I mean giving you the wish wasn't very smart if you were going to turn him into your puppet. Oh well gotta go!"

"WAIT!!!" Everyone leapt but the blonde and her lamp had already vanished.

"Well, Akane," said Nabiki finally, after the discovery that poking Ranma with a needle or putting his hand in a candle flame produced no reaction, "you got your wish. Ranma can't be a jerk to you or make you mad and he's going to listen to you no matter what you say."

"Act normal," commanded Akane after Kasumi handed her a note.

"Unable to comply, mistress," said Ranma in that emotionless voice.

"So command him to marry you," suggested Soun.

"Make him do tricks," suggested Nabiki, who was making a mental note that if Akane ever got her hands on a wish again - she was running.

Akane decided that:

• denial is a good thing. "It's all that jerk's fault!"
• she can't deal with this and sends the soulless zombie out into the dojo.
• that pink cat hissing and looking seriously pissed off means that Shampoo found out about it. Maybe she should command Ranma to stop her?
• As above but Akane's actually happy to see Shampoo. Cologne might know a way to restore Ranma!
• this is actually what she's always wanted. Now to splash him and get a little maid uniform for Ranma-chan
• something else
