“HAHAHAHA!”
Hiroshi and Daisuke were surprised to hear Ranma laughing. Daisuke was the first to address this strange occurrence, “Ranma! You’re early!”
“Yeah! No chance o’ me bein’ late today! All I had at do wa-,” whatever he was about to say was cut off as someone landed on his head, forcing him to eat dirt. Hiroshi and Daisuke backed up afraid that this might cause Ranma to have one of his “accidents”. The person who landed on him was a girl, with a scarf that covered the lower half of her face and long green hair, dressed in the Furinkan’s girl uniform.
“Have you two seen Ranma’s Kim,” she asked of them only to hear some grumbling from below her. Looking down she realized she was standing on someone and stepped off him. When he she got to see his face she exclaimed, “Ranma’s Kim!” and helped him stand up. She continued to hold his hand even as he tried to pull it away.
“Ranma, who’s this?” A voice asked from behind him. Hiroshi and Daisuke backed up even farther but didn’t take their eyes off the upcoming spectacle. Ranma slowly turned around to see Akane, who was eyeing the girl that was still holding his hand, no matter how hard he pulled.
“No clue. None whatsoever, nope none. No way, nah-huh,” he hurriedly replied.
“Ranma’s Kim! How could you forget me! It’s me, your darling Emeralda,” the girl said oblivious to the danger she was putting both Ranma and herself into. Ranma continued to frantically pull his arm away with no visible results until he suddenly stopped and looked at the girl strangely.
“You talk different.”
Esmeralda's reply to Ranma’s strange statement was cut off by Akane’s rage enhanced voice.
“I thought you said you didn’t know her Ranma. You’d have to know her to even say that she talks different. And I almost believed you, too! RANMA, YOU LIAR!” she yelled before kicking Ranma into the school building by way of several walls. Dispensed of her Righteous Womanly Rage, Akane headed toward the jerk to the check and see if he was okay. She hadn’t made three steps before the green haired girl was in her face.
“You will never do anything like that again,” she said. The sentence wasn’t very profound, neither was the tone in which she spoke. She stated pure simple fact. But since her eyes were glowing as she spoke and that she was speaking to Akane of all people, made every person in the school’s courtyard head for safer ground.
Before Akane could make any kind of reply, the girl sprinted over to Ranma’s inert form and placed his body over her right shoulder before heading farther into the building.
“So, think she’s a new fiancée?” Hiroshi asked.
“Obviously. Oh man, Akane looks like she’s about to blow,” answered Daisuke.
“Glad we ran to class?”
“Hell, yeah.”
Silence.
“I wonder what the engagement was agreed over,” Daisuke spoke.
“Since she didn’t try to fight him first, probably nothing with a lot of worth.”
“Yeah.”
More silence.
“You’re telling Ms. Hinako.”
“No way, it’s your turn!”
“I did it last time! You do it!”
“Oh! Delinquents!”
A single thought passed through the boys heads, ‘Oh no…’
