The past had been changed for only a few minutes, he knew. The first set of memories-- the true memories-- were starting to get as faded as Padme's memories where when he was in male form. He didn't know if this was a good thing or a bad that, but just having them made Ranma's situation all that much more worse.
He didn't like Padme in the first place-- too much of a girly-girl in his opinion-- and now he could recall the fact that originally he wasn't supposed to have her at all? It made him a bit... twitchy.
She was always there, lecturing him in his mind: "Don't do that!" "She's your fiancée, don't call her uncute!", "Why have you let things get this far out of hand?", "Oh honestly, Ranma, use your head for once!"
It was seriously annoying; he wondered if this was what it was like to live at home with your mother. While he'd try to avoid ever thinking bad things about Saotome Nodoka, he couldn't help but have a shiver go down his spine when he thought about Nodoka and Padme being anything alike. It almost made him wonder if Genma had done a good thing by taking him away when he was little.
Thoughts like that, of course, made Padme lecture him even more about respecting one's parents. Specifically one's mother.
"Yeah well," he grumbled to the voice in his head, "You didn't exactly keep Luke around for very long, did you?"
It was a low blow, but right then, having some silence in his head would have be a nice thing. He needed time to think, to fix this mess. Life may not have been fun before the wish, but it was worse now; and he didn't even know how Mihoshi had screwed up his wish to have a life more like Luke Skywalker.
Maybe she'd decided he'd be more like the guy if he had his mother in his head? He didn't know how that worked, considering Luke had been raised by his aunt and uncle, and Ranma had been raised by Genma in both timelines...
Showing a bit of foresight, considering who we're talking about, Ranma pulled a scrap of paper out of his pocket. It was a bill from his last meal out-- not to either Ucchan's or the Nekohanten, they didn't really count. He needed to write a note to himself before he forgot the original timeline, so that he knew he'd have to change it.
The crumpled paper wasn't very large, so Ranma could only write the gist of the problem:
Padme not real. Wish. Fix it.
