"The monsters in this area have a challenge rating well above our current class levels," insisted Rei.
"Well...it's not like we're going into the dungeons. They're just delivery missions!" Asuka retorted sharply.
"And if we are accosted by wandering monsters again?"
Asuka paused and gulped as her pussy twitched under her armor. But in the next second she regained her confidence.
"We'll be fine! If you're so worried about it, check the map and find us a safe route. Put that focus of yours to use."
Rei retreated to a corner, deep in thought. She had a number of issues with Asuka's leadership. The other girl's impulsiveness had already landed the group one near-defeat and now she seemed set to drag them into another potential disaster.
Asuka had to be stopped. And the simplest way to keep her from trying to be a leader was to ensure she had no choice but to become a follower. In short, Asuka had to be made into a slave, just like Nabiki.
Rei paused to enjoy the image of the Second child stripped of her power and status, leashed, dressed in rags, and with her will broken. It was a strangely pleasing image.
But not, as it turned out, a terribly original one. Looking at the map Rei found several potential hazards which could end up with Asuka in chains. Picking one out, she returned to the others.
"Well, Wondergirl? Where are we going first?"
"The Silver Moon Pool," Rei answered, not a trace of ominousness in her voice.
