Imperial Heir: Of grand escapes. (LIME) [Episode 130958]

by Drakuzz

Ranma was walking along with his mother, trying to avoid visual contact with her. Not that he was ashamed or anything, but... She was practically butt-naked! "Mom, are you SURE we can't go back to your house to get your stuff?"

Nodoka shook her head for the seventh time to that very same question. Not only was her son asking for something that she couldn't allow, but he probably got a fever as he kept getting distracted and was all flushed. "We're almost there, son."

"Almost where?" Ranma asked as he followed Nodoka through the incredibly dense population of trees. "You still haven't told me yet."

"To my ship," Nodoka answered as she saw a familiar formation of rocks and turned to her left. Now only twenty paces more and they would be there.

Ranma blinked his eyes. "Ship? What, you've got a boat or something hidden in the forest?" Why she would hide a BOAT in the forest, Ranma couldn't guess...

...

Oh wait, yes he could.

Genma probably would've sold it for booze-money if he knew about it.

Nodoka couldn't help but smile at Ranma's question, even if the situation didn't allow for it. "Something like that." She stopped in front of a huge tree that had a boulder behind it. "This is it." Placing her hand on the bark of the tree it suddenly started to glow slightly, then the tree and boulder both distorted visibly before metal was revealed.

Ranma blinked his eyes. The large components of metal were shaped into... Something... Something he couldn't identify. "What the..."

A hydraulic sound was heard and a door opened to their side. Nodoka didn't waste another moment and got into the ship. "Let's go."

Ranma blinked his eyes in surprise. Tentatively, he went in through the opening. If he didn't know better, this was like something out of that American show. What did they call it? Star Journey? Galaxy Trek? Something along those lines anyway...

He saw it was very small inside. To his right there was a small cabin that appeared like the place for the pilot. To his right there was a single bunk bed, some weird devices and two closed doors. Nodoka stopped and threw her blaster to the bed before turning to Ranma. "Sit." She motioned for the pilot seat, the only one.

Ranma did as told, just wondering what the heck was going on. He had an inkling, but even that was far-fetched.

"As far-fetched as magical curses?" He berated himself. Shaking his head, Ranma asked, "Mom, is this a spaceship or something like in the movies?"

Nodoka nodded and walked over to the chair as well after closing the door. She sat on Ranma's lap and pressed her body against Ranma's tightly so she could buckle up. She answered Ranma's question as she started pressing buttons on the consoles and the ship came to life. "This is a spaceship, son."

Ranma blushed crimson as his mother was pressed so tightly to him, especially since she wasn't wearing very much at all...

...

......

Wait a minute!

SPACESHIP!?

"It's WHAT!?" Ranma asked in sheer disbelief.

Nodoka didn't seem to notice the way Ranma's struggling brushed against her backside or hiked up her bathrobe, or at least she didn't make a fuss over it, and answered calmly as she took the controls in her hands. "A spaceship, Ranma. We're getting out of this system before they get you." She started counting slowly, waiting for the engines to be warm enough for takeoff. It had been a while and she was sure it wasn’t going to be easy to get out of here.

Ranma blinked his eyes once again at THAT statement. "Huh!? Wait a minute! Someone ELSE is after me?" Great, now what did his father do. "Just who and why?"

Nodoka grimaced at this. She'd hoped NEVER to tell Ranma about this. "Let's just say Genma isn't your father." With that said she pulled on the controls and soon they took off. The pigtailed martial artist now thanked his mother for sitting him under her tightly buckled up, even if his body was starting to react to her closeness, much to his growing panic. If she hadn't he would've been smashed against one of the walls of the ship because of the many G's.

"Holy!" Ranma thought, not sure if it was because of the force of his body, OR the fact that his mother said his father wasn't his father!

In a matter of seconds Nodoka's ship was already getting out of the atmosphere. The woman narrowed her eyes as she pressed a few more buttons and prepared for what was to come. This wouldn't be easy, avoiding an entire fleet of Star Destroyers and their tractor beams.

---

"Admiral Shrovik," one of the hands on the bridge of the Star Destroyer Templar called out from his station. "There's a bogey on the radar."

"What kind of bogey?" The Admiral asked. "I thought warning was given to get all Earthen aircraft out of the sky!"

"This isn't anything of Earthen design, it's..." The man went silent for a moment. "Sir, you won't believe this, but it's a Firespray-3!"

“Is it the Slave 1?” Admiral Shrovik asked in distaste. It was no mystery who that ship belonged to.

The man shook his head. “Unconfirmed identification on that ship. We don’t have it in any of our databases.”

"WHAT!?" The Admiral shouted. He turned towards the approaching ship. Already there was laser fire against the possible threat, even if it was minimal, and his eyes widened in fear as his mind made a connection. “Cease fire!”

The order turned was useless as the ship was expertly piloted right through the enemy laser fire and towards the Star Destroyer. "Oh by the Emperor! It's heading right for us!" The man screamed.

"Turn on the tractor beam!" Admiral Shrovik commanded.

"We can't, sir!" One of the Star Destroyer techs said.

"What? Why not?" Admiral Shrovik asked as he started to sweat. If that ship was damaged or managed to escape he could see a very short but painful future ahead of him.

"It's already out of range and..." The man was hesitant. "It's crossing the length and is going to make a straight impact with the bridge!!!"

Looking forward, most people could actually SEE the Firespray-3 coming head-on outside of the main windows of the bridge.

"GOOD LORD! EVASIVE ACTION!" Admiral Shrovik shouted. "BRING US DOWN! DOWN!!!"

---

Even on Earth, the people could see something was going on, as the Star Destroyer in the sky dropped drastically, and going at a phenomenal rate that it looked as if it were going to crash into the ocean!

---

Aboard his flagship, Vader could do nothing but stare. Even he was surprised by the pilot's bold maneuver.

He hadn't seen better or more piloting since... Well... The last time HE was in a cockpit.

“Lord Vader, Admiral Shrovik requests communication with you.”

Vader’s eyes narrowed behind the lenses of his helmet. Even if that ship was a decoy, he couldn’t feel anyone Force-strong aboard it, it could very well have been the real thing. He decided to ‘reprimand’ Shrovik even as he ordered to have that ship tracked after it made the jump into hyperspace. That was most likely the ship in which Ranma arrived before being born, and it was also quite possible Emperor Palpatine’s woman was in it. He’d certainly like to have a word with her.

---

Behind the controls of the Firespray-3 Nodoka gave out a sigh of relief. It had worked, after all. "And that's that," she said with a smile and turned back to see a petrified Ranma sitting under her.

"..." Yes, petrified.

Nodoka pressed a few buttons and leaned forward to reach some others. "We're out of here!" She crowed as the stars around them started to elongate before turning to a continuous void.

Now safely in hyperspace Nodoka turned to Ranma with a smile. "You okay, son?"

Slowly, Ranma nodded his head. "... Did what I think happened… happen? Did you just play 'chicken' with a ship that had to be a thousand times larger than this one?"

Nodoka thought about it for a moment and smiled brightly. "I haven't done that in years!" She kissed him lightly on the cheek and started to fumble with the seat belt.

Ranma blushed as his mother was grinding her ass atop his lap. He didn't know what to make of the comment 'done that in years.'

… So he just settled on going into a terminal blush.

Nodoka finally managed to undo the belt and stood up, her bathrobe falling around her but not fast enough to avoid giving her son a great view of her perfectly formed ass. "Now that we're away we only have to wait a week before reaching Jurai."

Ranma blinked his eyes once, twice, thrice. "Jurai? Mom..." Ranma stood up. "I think there's a lot of stuff I need ta' know."

Nodoka turned to regard Ranma and undid her belt to tie her robe a little more decently, forget about the show she gave her son while doing it. It seemed like her weird ideas of manliness came from her own ideas about feminine modesty. "We have a week, son. Just you and me."

"Not that," Ranma said, although the idea of him being alone for a week with his mother was a little discomforting. Especially with the way she was acting. "I mean with before, about you saying Po-Genma not being my dad. Or what about that someone was after me!?"

Nodoka faltered for a moment before she swiftly changed the subject. "Want to go to bed?" So she wasn't very good at being discrete. Now we all know where Ranma got it.

Ranma was about to nod his head for a moment... And then shook his head. Aw, no! She wasn't getting out of this THAT easily. "Mom, at least tell me you didn't pull a Genma and sell me off to be engaged to someone for something meaningless they gave you."

"Okay, I won't tell you that," Nodoka answered and placed her hands on her hips. "Now get here and let's get some rest. This will be a long trip."

Why didn't she escape Palpatine with a better ship?

Oh wait, that's right. The majority of the larger fleet ships were under heavy Guard by the Empire-then-Federation's Clone Troopers. She was just lucky that some bounty hunter was arrogant enough to think no one would be brave enough to steal from him. Showed him how much he knew!

"Ranma. Bed, now. We can talk as we rest." Nodoka ordered as she laid down on the extremely small bed.

"Okay, okay..." Ranma mumbled as he looked back and forth. "Where's my bed?"

Nodoka gave her son an annoyed look. "Do you see any other beds here, Ranma?"

The color started to leave Ranma's face. "Wait a minute, you want us to share the SAME BED!?"

Nodoka glared at him. "You've slept with me hundreds of times before."

Ranma blinked his eyes. "I did?"

"You were a baby once, you know? You even asked to sleep with me when you were a child." The memory of that time made a small smile to appear on Nodoka’s lips.

Ranma's eyes widened. "Oh yeah... Been so long, I kinda forgot." He scratched the back of his head. "But this is different... I mean, there's barely enough room for YOU on there, let alone two people."

Nodoka raised an eyebrow. "You never complained about resting your head on my chest before."

At that comment, Ranma's eyes widened. That did it for the poor boy. A small spray of blood went from his nose as his eyes rolled to the back of his head. Ranma fell backwards, unconscious.

Nodoka rolled her eyes and decided to drag her son to get some rest on the bed with her. "I can't believe Genma failed even at this. That cheating bastard couldn't even have his own son act like that panda in heat does."
