Asuka gazed down into the piloting capsule with a definite sense of trepidation. The fact that it was half-filled with some sort of syrupy cream didn't help matters at all. The hint of... something... invisible beneath the surface only made things worse. "What sort of cockpit is this supposed to be?" she demanded, glaring at the labcoated blonde who was assisting her.
Calmly, Dr. Akagi replied, "It's a total sensory deprivation chamber. The Link Connection Liquid will provide you with full neutral buouyancy and complete oxygenation and sustenance, as well as serving as a shock absorbant."
Asuka carefully schooled her reaction as she suddenly envisioned exactly what might happen should she attempt to pilot the Evangelion without the LCL to protect her from the G-Forces.
"The connection itself uses an automated neural interface web," Dr. Akagi continued, ignoring or unaware of Asuka's reaction, "and a full circulation system filters out any contaminants that might enter the sytem."
Asuka understood immedietely the importance of that last point, and realized that the... oddness... within the LCL must be the interface cables floating within the circulating fluid.
Dr. Akagi looked up at Asuka. "You will have to disrobe completely before entering the entry-plug. Clothing will get in the way of the interface process, and the LCL dissolves artificial fibres in any case. Besides, while your consciousness won't be fully aware of your physical body, it well still tend to react to your movements. Clothing tends to bind, and you might injure yourself inadvertedly."
Grimacing at the imagery that brought up, Asuka simply shrugged and began to strip. It wasn't like there were any males around to watch her, anyways. Though she did idly wonder why she got the errant idea that it wouldn't have mattered to her if the place had been staffed entirely by men.
Once she had stripped down all the way to her birthday suit, she dropped down into the entry hatch, supporting herself on her arms and elbows just above the surface of the liquid, before letting herself drop into the LCL. Just before she did so, Asuka wondered to herself exactly why she seemed to be finding the situation so arousing.
The LCL initially came up to roughly her waist, enough to easily absorb the shock of her drop, but more immedietely began to flood in. Those facts were only noted in passing, however, beside a far more pressing matter. Asuka's arousal, which before had been merely notable, suddenly became total and absolute, encompassing the entirety of her consciousness and more.
