Ranma was more or less walking on autopilot. He headed straight for the kitchen for a glass of water *Fluids. Gotta drink fluids and vitamins* He found Kasumi preparing lunch.
"Oh my, Ranma-kun ! Why did you come back from school so early ?" Not that she was adverse to his presence. She noticed his flushed face "Ranma-kun, are you ill ?"
Ranma smiled (unknowingly sending butterflies in Kasumi's stomach) "It's nothing, Kasumi... I caught Akane's flu and the school nurse decided to send me back home" He showed her the medication she gave him "I have to take these, drink water and rest. That's all"
She put her hand on Ranma's forehead "Oh my ! You're feverish !" Kasumi's nursing instincts overcame her naughty thoughts for now "She's right, Ranma-kun. You'd better take your medication and go lay in your bed"
Ranma wanted to protest that he wasn't THAT ill but no one is able to stand against Kasumi Tendo's 'resolve face'. He nodded, drank his pills with water and went up to his room. Luckily, the fathers were gone so he would escape their antics.
Once tucked in his futon, Ranma decided to try to sleep, despite his headache and fever. Once his eyes were closed, the dreams came, dreams of girls he knew scantily clothed or naked. He smiled in his sleep while something bulged in his boxers.

Kasumi went to check on Akane and Nabiki a few minutes later. She told them that Ranma was ill too and was now resting in the Saotomes' room. Gears began to turn in the Tendo sisters' mind. They were alone... with Ranma. The fever went up as if the knowledge that relief was at hand gave it an excuse to work faster.
Now who would get to him first ?
