And to think he owed part of the credit to Miss. Hinako and her fascination with Camelot. Why if it hadn’t been for that reading assignment, Ranma would never have heard of Merlin. More particularly the legends that Merlin was capable of changing his own shape and sex at will.
It was so simple! Use the Nanban mirror to go to the wizard and have him teach Ranma the technique to change his form. Sure he may have to perform some task or something, but he was Ranma Saotome! He’d have the technique down in no time flat!
“Nothing can go wrong! NEVAH GONNA BE A GIRL AGAIN!” Ranma sang as he held the mirror up, a lone tear of joy slowly forming in his eye.
You would think Ranma would know better than to say something like that wouldn’t you?
Ranma opened his mouth to speak his destination as the tear slid down his face. As he did he heard a growl behind him, and his eyes widened as he noticed Hibiki glaring up and charging towards him.
Gulping quickly Ranma shouted out his destination. “Take me back to the time and place of the great wizard......”
“RANMA! HOW DARE YOU FIND A CURE AND TRY TO USE IT! PREPARE TO DIE! BAKUSEI TENTSU!”
A large explosion erupted at the base of the wall, sending Ranma flying as his tear hit the mirror’s surface... a bright flash engulfed him mid-flight, leaving Ryouga standing there alone dumbfounded a single mirror shard at his feet.
Ryouga stood there and blinked. Then slowly a smile formed on his face. “I did it! I finally defeated that accursed Ranma! Wait till I tell Akane!”
Grinning in a mild fantasy of how his news would be received, Ryouga stumbled off. Incidentally in the opposite direction of the Nerima ward, but he would get there eventually... And then all Hell would break loose.
Meanwhile in some other time and place a portal opened and a Japense boy shot out of it like a rocket screaming. “RYOUGA NO BAKAAA!!!!!”
Only to land.....
