When she had first learned of the existence of this creature from Genma's master, she had been expecting something a bit more imposing. She had not been expecting a wisp of bluish air that spoke with a soothing sound not unlike that of certain British actors.
She was vaguely uncertain of whether it indeed had the power to fulfil her wish or not.
Meanwhile, the creature grew eager at the door this woman was opening for it.
Technically, it wasn't a demon, nor was it chaos. What it was, was a creature that lived off of raw possibilities and magic. As magic had dwindled on Earth, it had locked itself away, imprisoning itself, but giving it the opportunity to bring Earth, again, into the sort of age where it thrived.
Whether that sent civilization into the stars, or back down to feudal times, the creature did not care. Either situation would povoke innumerable possibilities, and with the magic this woman let it unleash, that would be revitalized as well.
"Your wish then is for me to temporarily enchant your son for the previously stated time so that when any being, excepting relatives, he is capable of reproducing with touches him, they become a potent lover devoted to your son, and that they shall not care about any other lovers he might possess," the demon asked, to clarify. "And that he will be drawn to initiate these relationships in things that seem coincidental to him and all others and then consumate them."
"Female," Nodoka said, catching something in the spirit's voice. "They have to be female."
"All right, then." the demon said, somewhat disappointed to the sound of matters. "Your son will be temporarily enchanted for the previously stated time so that any being he is capable of reproducing with, excepting relatives, touches him, they become a potent, female lover devoted to your son, and that they shall not care about any other lovers he might possess. And that he will be drawn to initiate these relationships in things that seem coincidental to him and all others and then consumate them."
Nodoka nodded satisfied. The wisp of air burst into a cacophony of color then, filling the cavern, before shrinking down again to a wisp of blue.
"It is done," the demon said. "When he next awakens, the clock will begin."
"Wonderful," Nodoka said, sighing and already thinking of the grandchildren as she made her way out of the cave back through the trials she had passed (mostly out of luck) to get this far.
"And thus does the age of magic return to man," the spirit said after she left.
