So it was with some relief that he'd come across a fairly normal (for Furinkan) fight. And for once, he stayed back and watched as the trio bounced around the yard. Once he realized that the pigtailed boy was trying to keep Kuno from finding Akane, he decided to join in.
Kuno found his blade stopped by an umbrella and glared at its wielder. "You would aid the foul Saotome in keeping me from my loves?!"
Ryouga snorted. "Akane would be glad that I did once all this ends."
"Then I shall show you no mercy!"
"Like that'd help you."
As for the pigtailed boy, he was so surprised by the assist from the bandana clad boy that he stopped in his tracks. This was not what would normally happen. But then again, the whole day had not been normal. He was secretly glad for the help since all that he'd done and the flu had left him pretty wiped.
So wiped in fact that he almost missed the fact that Mousse had sent another chain at him. Fortunately, he was able to see it in time and leapt out of the way, landing:
