Eberron: Aerith Gainsborough? [Episode 133354]

The brown haired woman reminded Ranma of Kasumi - the same sort of soft spoken voice and simple manner. Her clothing was similar too - simple blouse and skirt combination.

"I've had something of a reversal of fortune lately," confided Aerith.

"A cleric of Olladra? God of feast and good fortune?" asked Tao, wondering how that fit.

"When I and my friends arrived from Cyre, we ended up scattering and going off on our own. I had to remain here and wait for an opening in the local temple," explained Aerith. "I tried selling flowers to make ends meet while I waited - unfortunately the local guard seem to want more money than I have in order to make their quota."

"You couldn't pay the fees to be a street vendor, or the bribes for the guard to look the other way," translated Tao for his sensei's benefit.

"Gotcha," agreed Ranma. Sounded to him like the gal with the pointy ears had gotten involved with someone like Nabiki and taken for everything she had. He could sympathize.

"We could use a cleric," admitted Tao, "though I've heard that healing magic is normally less effective upon myself and I normally seek an Artificier or someone of House Cannith for repairs. What other skills do you have?"

"As a cleric of Olladra of the Sovereign Host, I can cook," said Aerith. "I usually bring good luck, it just hasn't seemed to work since arriving here."

Ranma nodded. Someone to cook was a good thing. Gave him more time for training and teaching and stuff if he didn't have to worry about that.

Tao interpreted Ranma's nod as interest in having a cleric around. "Very well. Is there anything else we should know?"

• "Other than we should leave as soon as possible, no," said Aerith, wanting to avoid any more harassment from the Guard.
• "I was with several companions who are also stranded here," said Aerith. "Including my boyfriend Cloud. He's a swordsman."
• As #2, but they are also being pursued by someone named Sephiroth who seems to have a grudge against them.
• As #2 or #3 but it's just the girls of FF7
• As one of the above but she knows this guy named Cid with an airship.
• Something else
