Shaman Fight: Savage Reunions [Episode 133401]

by The Insane Hiker

Back with the rest of the group, matters were beginning to come to a head, especially when Horo Horo nervously recognized a figure from his past, “F, F, Felicia is that really you, man *gulp* it’s been the long side of forever?”

As he spoke, Felicia Yagyu took notice of her old acquaintance, “Horo Horo!?!” Then to the surprise of all in both groups except the person she was addressing, she tied on her blue, spade eye-patch, and activated her half of the spirit of Jubei Yagyu ‘the icy resolve of the swordsman’.

Now fully clad in the grey and gold, samurai robes, she leveled a one-eyed gaze at the Ainu Shaman, and called his name in a chilly, even-tone, “Horo Horo,” and without a moment’s hesitation launched into a savage attack.

As her sword strikes began to gain tempo and ferocity to match Horo Horo’s madcap attempts to evade them, Felicia gave her reason behind the attack, “How dare you stand me up on our date, just to go snowboarding at Rusutsu-yama.”

As Felicia chased Horo Horo from one end of the clearing to the other, Chocolove asked Yoh a simple question, “So fearless leader, why aren’t you moving to break this up?”

Yoh didn’t even have the time to get a word out, since Ren answered for him, “Because oh’ master of the cheap-punch line, Yoh knows from his experience with Anna, what I know from growing up with my sister Jun; namely never get between a woman and the target of her rage.” To which every man present on the sidelines, not to mention Midoriko, and Jiyu (Felicia’s sister by adoption) nodded.

Noting her mentor’s confirmation of the comment, Izayoi inquired, “Hey Mi-nee-dori-san-ko, why’d you nod.

Sighing, for what seemed like the hundred-thousandth time at her charge’s oddly jumbled nickname for her (actually it was only the 33,725th but who keeps count), and long having given up on correcting her outside of battle (when she actually gets it right), she answered her young protégée, “Kid, let’s just say that my mom acts the same why with my father at times. It’s one of the reasons I’m glad that I normally attend a boarding school, especially because of what usually happens when they make up, ugh!

Now paying closer attention then ever, Izayoi inquired further, “And what happens then Mi-nee-dori-san-ko?”

Shocked that the young Shaman heard her, the Shaolin-disciple struggled with a response, ‘Kuso, I forgot how good her hearing is, oh well I hope the classic stall still works.’ “Ask your grandmother when we get back to Japan if you want to know, she told me not to tell.”

Crossing her eyes in concentration as Midoriko sweated it out, Izayoi gave her reply after one of her minimal meditation routines (5 tumbles, 3 reverse-tumbles, and 7 head-rotations), “Um, Okay! Bye the way Mi-nee-dori-san-ko.”

Sighing to herself, the errant heir of the Saotome clan readied herself for another question she couldn’t answer, “Yes, Izayoi what is it?”

Innocently the red robe clad girl looked up and asked, “Why is that Elvis impersonator here carrying a boken?”

This innocent question caused the entire group, including Horo Horo and Felicia, to look at an increasingly embarrassed Ryu; tensions increased for a minute until the dam burst. At this point even Ren began to clutch his ribs, while leaning on his Kwon Dao to keep from joining the others who were either, rolling on the ground or crying, with laughter.

Elsewhere, Hao was making preparations, “So you understand your mission ladies?”

Kneeling before him was his Hana Team, the fierce girls Kanna, Mari and Machi. From this trio Kanna was the first to speak, “Yes Hao-sama, we wait for Vash Saverem’s group to leave Yoh Asakura’s team...”

Machi the witch girl picked up where Kanna left off, “Then when they’re far enough away we strike...”

And Mari the final member finished up, “Eliminating Yoh’s friends, leaving him all alone.”

Smiling, Hao reminded them of one minor detail, “Good, however should Anna arrive with the Chou Senji Ryakettsu you three are to withdraw immediately; is that understood?”

As one the trio answered him, “Yes Hao-sama!”

Before they were dismissed, Machi chose to speak up, “Hao-sama, if I may be so bold why not just let us destroy this other group as well, what’s one less group of losers after all.”

Bending down to look at Machi with a smile (which made her and Kanna both nervous), Hao answered, “Because my dear Machi; a close friend of mine has already asked that I leave the fate of Vash and his allies up to him, and good allies who already share our cause are so hard to come by... isn’t that right Knives?”

The Hana team (even the abnormally unflappable Mari) was startled by the sudden appearance of another spiky-haired blonde, who was similar to yet different from, the man now with Yoh.

Stepping closer to Hao and the trio, Knives answered the seemingly rhetorical question, “It is sad but true Lord Hao, one would think the more rational minds among the world’s shaman would realize that this garden of theirs is long overrun with malicious pests and parasites. Fortunately for them, and the world as a whole, my Gung-ho Guns are more than ready to help remedy this situation.”
