"You don't know?!" her bed mate, an man in his mid to late twenties.
"No, never met you before," Shampoo said, embarrassed. Her bed-mate frowned for a moment, his eyebrow twitching a little more, before he sighed and shook his head.
"My name's Johnny Cage," he said. Shampoo showed a continued lack of reaction to that name.
"Is supposed to mean something?" she asked.
"Is supposed to....?" Johnny nearly sputtered. "I'm one of the biggest names in martial arts action movies out right now! Me, Fei Long and Jackie Chan."
Shampoo thought about it for a moment.
"Shampoo no watch movies much," she explained apologetically.
"What are you from some village in the middle of nowhere?" Johnny asked.
"Is not middle of nowhere!" Shampoo protested angrily.
