Ranma, the Naive Succubus - Nabiki's Deal: Breakfast in Bed [Episode 136388]

by Doronron

Nabiki dreamt of rain and soft kisses as she sank further into the warm embrace of the blanket, contentedly murmuring in her sleep. Her eyes slowly opened and watched the light slowly travel across her floor through the blinds. Still warm. Still comfortable. She smiled languorously.

Normally not a morning person, she felt especially well refreshed today, and wondered why she had been so comfortable the night before. She tried to pull herself from the bed, intending to stretch her muscles out. No sense in wasting a perfect opportunity to get organized for what was promising to be a glorious day!

That was when her blanket mewled and drew the teenager into a grip of steel. Nabiki squawked and tried to pry herself free.

Ranma's eyes flew open at the sound of the other girl. In a flash, the nature spirit was plastered against the wall, a blush slowly spreading through her cheeks and the soft skin of her neck. Nabiki's glare faltered as she looked away, feeling somewhat embarrassed. Ranma's curse must've activated in the other realm again. It was an obvious deduction even as the redhead rapidly chanted apologies.

"Sorry for what, Ranma?" Nabiki's smirk fell into place, once again taking control, "For using me as a teddy bear?"

Ranma turned back and peered at her friend. "You mean you're not mad?"

"Let's just say you'll owe me later."

The door opened to the sound of Kasumi, "Good Morning, little sister." She was carrying a tray. Breakfast in bed.

"GAK!" Nabiki spared a glance as Ranma once again pressed herself against the wall, unconsciously displaying her goods.

"Morning, Sis," Nabiki slightly shifted in between her sister and Ranma and stood to intercept the older girl.

Kasumi blinked. Then handed breakfast to Nabiki and slipped past her.

"Umm, sis?" Nabiki watched as Kasumi nonchalantly stepped to the closet and drew it open.

"Anything you need washed, Nabiki-chan?" Kasumi lied. Nabiki glanced at Ranma, still pressed against the wall, breasts heaving. Nabiki tore her gaze away as she put the tray down on the bed. The day must have been getting warm already.

"No thanks." Nabiki replied. Kasumi stepped towards the bed and lifted the quilt ever so slightly with her foot, revealing an empty, if a little dusty, wooden floor. "Sis?" Nabiki asked again.

"Hmmm?" Kasumi dipped a little lower to get a better view under the bed.

"Kasumi!" Nabiki almost barked. The older girl turned to Nabiki, and then nonchalantly stepped around the bed. Nabiki reached for the tea on the tray. Probably just warm enough.

Nabiki stopped reaching for the glass just as Kasumi stopped pacing right next to Ranma. Kasumi's face pulled inward, perplexed. She turned and stared. Right at the redhead. The nature spirit stopped breathing as Kasumi stared right at her.

Kasumi's hand reached up.

And tapped the wall right next to Ranma's head. Nabiki fumbled and spilled the tea into her food.

"Hmmm" Kasumi turned away. Ranma let out an explosive gasp of air. Kasumi shivered slightly. "Oh dear." Kasumi focused on the tray with the ruined food. "You'll never be able to eat that."

Nabiki backed away as Kasumi stepped around the bed and picked up the tray.

"Sis?" Nabiki watched her sister reach the door. Kasumi turned and beamed.

"I'll be back with more." The door was gently closed. Nabiki stepped towards her desk and slumped into her chair.

"You're sinking, Ranma." Nabiki droned, a little numb. Ranma looked down and slowly raised herself above the floor. Nabiki gasped and shot upright as the door burst open.

"I almost forgot." Kasumi spoke a little too loudly as she stepped into the room again. She glanced around once more, and then presented Nabiki with a small bag. Nabiki reached in and pulled out a black cross. Her eyebrows arched as she met her sister's gaze. "You hang them upside down in your room."

"Huh?"

"I was so worried when you lost your friends. You've been happier and more animated these last few weeks, Nabiki-chan," Kasumi said, fingering her own cross, "When Mother lead me to God, I felt so at peace with myself. It truly helped." She leaned in and kissed Nabiki's forehead. "Whatever you do, little sister, I'm happy for you."

Nabiki's stood stock still as Kasumi once again strode towards the door. Kasumi looked back.

"Since you haven't killed any unbaptized babies or small animals, and cattle mutilations are actually down, I've decided it's a good thing you've found your Dark Lord Satan." Kasumi's voice was a little strained, and she worried a bit more at her own crucifix. The smile may have been forced, Nabiki couldn't tell. The door closed once again with a low creak.
