Decided to know more about this woman that had caused him so much trouble. Then he could know what should be his next move. Hitting the Word of Truth pressure point. He saw her Ki change as her eyes seemed to gain a little more focus.
Ranma took a breath in. "Shampoo, do you love me?" He waited for the words that would be coming out of her mouth.
"Shampoo loves Ranma. Ranma handsome, strong and treats Shampoo like woman. Not like statue. Shampoo would love to marry Ranma and have Ranma children. To be Ranma's sparring partner while being love partner. To share secrets with Ranma. Is Shampoo's dream." Shampoo said as a smile crossed her face and she signed while still a little glazed over.
This confused Ranma as he knew that she was speaking the truth, if the point was working. 'But if she loves me and loves the fact that I don't treat her like a prize, why is treating me like one?' So Ranma asked this question.
"Shampoo can not fail to get Airen. Shampoo is champion of village. Shampoo trained to be best... no matter what. Shampoo must be best!" Shampoo stopped for a minute before she continued. "But Shampoo's Airen not wanting Shampoo. Shampoo is not good enough to capture husband's eye. Shampoo get desperate. So Shampoo does bad thing. Shampoo has no other choice. Or Shampoo is failure. Shampoo is shamed."
That hit Ranma a little below the belt, as he knew the stresses that was placed on ones shoulders when trying to be perfect. 'But it seems that Shampoo has broken a little under the pressure if she thinks that she has to do anything to gain my love.' Ranma thought about it a minute. 'Perhaps I could fix things a little with this book.' As he took out the Master's way.
