Kurumi and Natsume hung close, which was to be expected considering they were sisters. That fact achieved some new signifigance, however, from the fact that Kodachi, still very nervous and confused, had found solace on Ukyou's lap and that the chef was holding the smaller girl and stroking her hair.
"Apparently," Setsuna said. "Those that shared Ranma a little closer than the rest of us share something of a bond as well." Kodachi and Ukyou blushed, as did Natsume and Kurumi, though Kurumi was quickly back to eating and forgetting the small embarrassment.
"Well," Nodoka said. "In any regard, we must discuss the future."
"That's her area," Haruka said, pointing toward Setsuna. "So, did this flu thing mess you up completely, or can you tell us something about the future?"
"You can see the future?" Kasumi said, blinking.
"In some regards," Setsuna said. "Though of late my abilities have been..."
"Put through the wringer?" Nabiki suggested.
"Quite," Setsuna said. "Of the only thing I can be certain of, however, is that all the women that catch this flu and succumb to it shall be, or are, pregnant."
For several seconds the room was dreadfully quiet, with only the sound of Ranma beating on Ryuu in background to be heard.
"GRANDCHILDREN!!! WAI!!" Nodoka declared. And this was immediately followed by a dull roar of random comments.
"But my restaurant!" "That PERVERT!!" "WAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!" "My gymnastics career!" "They'll be so cute!!!" "How are we going to find our father!?" "WAAHHHHHH!!!" "I can't be pregnant! I took precautions!" "You're pregnant." "B..b..b..b..." "Oh my." "Oneechan, what're they talking about?" "How am I going to explain THIS to Michiru?" "Michiru's pregnant too!" "WAAAAHHHHH!!!" "WHAT THAT THAT!!" "It was the flu remember?!" "WAAAAHHHH!!!" "I can't be pregnant!" "I'm going to KILL whoever made this flu!" "WAAAHHH!!!" "Can't me in!" "Somebody shut up Nabiki before she floods the place!" "I'll never get into a good college! WAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
"You could have broken that easier," Kasumi suggested a little off of the general chaos.
"Probably," Setsuna agreed.
