Azeroth Webs: Neko [Episode 136983]

by Thrythlind

The news of the purple people's reappearance reached Ranma fairly quickly, as he was in the area anyway. True to form, Ranma, rather than waiting for anybody with the proper ability to actually speak to them, rushed off to see what was up.

Confidentally and self-assured beyond most reason, despite the fact that his combat abilities would not be as useful here, Ranma dropped down to see the visitors.

And immediately focused all sight on that one object of the worst of all nightmares that could ever be.

It was much to the night elves' surprise when, as Anara and Meras were pointing him out as one of the better warriors they'd seen, that Ranma stumbled backwards in an apparent paroxysm of fear and fell ungracefully upon his rear before crawling backwards at tremendous speed and leaping back up into the trees.

"You're saying about him..."

"It must have been a different one," Anara said, confused.

"I know it was him, he defeated eight felguards without a flinch," Meras snapped back. "And challenged one of the doomguards as well."

They were slightly interrupted by the voices of two people conversation coming down the tree. The voices indicated some similar confusion to what the night elves happened to be feeling.

Two faces cautiously peeked downward, followed quickly, by the priestess that Meras and Anara recognized and one of the black-skinned warriors.

"Neko," both said in frustrated expressions as they looked to Tyrande's sabrecat.

The black-skinned female buried her face in a hand while the six-armed one glanced back toward where the male had vanished and shook her head.

"Ranma, Ranma, Ranma," she sighed repeatedly, before starting the translation prayer again.

"These are a very strange people," Malfurion said.
