Entering the room, Gendo folded his arms across his chest. "What is the report on our new guest."
Ritsuko picked up the folder and replied, "Weird. Nagisa Kara is proving to be a major puzzle. Due to something she said, I checked out a relative of her ancestor. From there, I checked out two more relatives. Nagisa Kano seems to have been the recipient of some sort of genetic tampering by person or persons unknown. After Kano died in her early twenties, eight months later a Nagisa Akira was born. Akira was killed in a hurricane at age nineteen. Nine months after her death Nagisa Tain was born. A fellow classmate under a mistaken assumption killed Nagisa Tain when she was twelve. Nine months later Nagisa Kara was born. Every Nagisa looked like one another, save hair and eye color."
Gendo asked, "Family members due look alike."
"Nagisa Tain is at best a third cousin to Nagisa Kara. I sent a team out to get some tissue samples. But, there are no tissue samples to be had. I'd say cloning, but there are birth certificates and death certificates. With that lack on genetic matching, I turned to handwriting. There is a one-hundred percent match. Whatever this is, it is skipping around free of any concerns with logic or genetics."
"Anything else?"
Ritsuko grimaced, as she replied, "Yes. Somehow, there seems to be some sort of unknown DNA replacing part of Nagisa Kara's genetic structure."
"Unknown?"
"Yes, unknown. It's not Angel or Human or any other creature I am aware of. I have also put Nagisa Kara through a brainwave analysis. Results at first were normal, but it appears that she has a second set of brainwaves. Her pattern has shifted back to Human orange, instead of that unknown yellow."
Gendo frowned and stared at the Magi computer system. "I will have to emergecy designate her as Fourth Child."
Ritsuko said, "She's not fourteen; she's sixteen. She's also not in the Marduk report."
"Dr. Akagi, Nagisa Kara has shown an ability to summon a giant mecha that easily overwhelmed the Third Angel. You have now just told me that she is not fully human. We need to keep an eye on her."
Ritsuko said, "I understand. We are in luck, her parents are dead and she's been living on her own for the past two years."
Gendo nodded. "I'll find a place close to NERV and the school she will now be attending."
Ritsuko smiled, "She does go to a school close by. She's lives an equal distance away from NERV to that school, just in the oppisite direction of NERV."
"Good. I'll send some men out to move her belongings."
Gendo left Ritsuko to her thoughts.

Shinji and Misato arrived at Misato's apartment. Shinji was unable to be quiet any longer.
"Misato, what happened out there? I was sent out to pilot the Evangelion while the Angel attacked, but after I got out there, I was just practicing piloting the robot."
Entering the after effects of a fragmentation bomb that Misato called her apartment, Misato waved Shinji in.
Closing the door, Misato sighed heavily. "During the attack, an unknown girl summoned a giant mecha that easily defeated the Third Angel."
Shinji stared at Misato. "How is that possible?"
"We're investigating it at the moment."
