Some of them would never openly go for a convention under normal circumstances though. In those instances, those people would have some certain problems with actually going out in public and not hiding it. To them, secrecy was not only wanted, it was necessary.
However, in one hotel, they were having a most peculiar convention. This was not some sort of thing for intelligence agents, not a meeting of criminals, nor was it anything intimate. But this was a special hotel, and a place that these individuals would need, as things could go on there that would never impact the outside world. It was sort of a neutral space that kept its problems inside, and basically under control.
And that was a good thing at the moment.
Hanging over the front door was a banner saying 'Welcome To The Magical Girls Convention!'
Standing in the lobby were two teenaged girls, both looking like most girls their age, if not prettier. But by the badges pinned on their blouses, it was clear that they were attendees, which meant only one thing.
Momoko Hanasaki looked over the groups of people entering and shook her head with a smile. "There are plenty of us around aren't there?"
"Well, there is plenty of evil around to fight," Himeno Awayuki commented.
"I know. Luckily, some of us only have to fight one evil, and that's that."
"Or you can be like them," the 'Pretear' commented, and nodded at the arriving Sailor Senshi.
"They do have bad luck, don't they? Always having to fight new enemies."
"It could be worse."
"How?"
"They could be perverted enemies. With tentacles."
"Eww..." went pink haired girl.
"Exactly."
"Then it's really good that they were not what most of us fight. I mean, she's got a badge, and she looks pretty young..."
"Oh, her. She's Chihaya Hiiragi, also known as 'Magical Warrior Carmine'. Not what you think."
"Oh?"
"Combines with a guy, like me, only she has just one transformation, and that makes her taller, changes her hair color, and gives her an outfit, as well as giving her a bigger... well..." Himeno trailed off, held her hands out at about where her cleavage was and then moved it out.
"She gets bigger?"
"Uh-huh..."
"Oh..." Momoko looked down at her own chest and sighed. "Now I feel small..."
"Just be thankful that you got your guy. He doesn't complain, does he?"
"He... No... I... We don't... He likes..."
"Oooh... Sounds interesting... Are you two getting close?"
"We... HIMENO!"
"Hee hee..."
"What about you and your guy? Any special news there?"
The redhead turned bright pink. "He and I... We don't... er..."
"Heh... Looks like the shoe is on the other foot, huh?"
"You made your point..."
"I know."
"Humph... Well, do you want to see what we can find?"
"Let's do it."
Both girls turned and headed over to join the other conventioneers, while:
