Smoke poured out of the ruby set on the ring and formed a blue eyed girl with straight brown hair. The girl was wearing a red genie outfit and was wearing a pendant in the shape of a lightning bolt. The girl kneeled before Ranma and said, "Greetings,Mater. I am Mary the Marvellous genie." Ranma blinked a bit. "You look like one of those superheroines that vanished. Mary Marvel." "I was Mary Marvel. But, I was changed into this form along with the other heroines who vanished. The Starheart came to our world to reclaim Jade. We fought it off, but it took its payment by turning 10 heroines, including Jade, into genies bound to a ring, each with a different gem. We are now obedient slaves to whoever wears out ring. What is your wish, master?" Ranma looked into the eyes of the 16 year old superheroine and felt sad that one who was so high fell so far.
