After finishing her chores bare-breasted, Kasumi was approached by Nodoka, who said, "You look beautiful, Kasumi. I only wish I had your nerve. Still, I am mildly surprised. What brought this on?" Kasumi was glad Nodoka was taking it calmly. "Please don't get angry, Mrs. Saotome, but it was Ranma. We made a pact. Please don't kill Ranma, because I love him, but I must speak with Nabiki in private". Nodoka was thoughtful. She looked at Soun, who silently agreed with Nodoka. "No, Kasumi", said her father firmly,"No privacy. At least, not this time". Nodoka turned to Genma. "What say you, husband?" "I agree with Soun. Kasumi's behaviour has been...unusual of late. I smell Ranma's hand in her being topless, but that in itself is not dishourable, Nodoka, it's only dishonourable if he means to harm her. Agreed?" "Agreed, Genma. The entire house will have to learn the reason", she concurred, and Kasumi wailed, "But then even the Kunos will know!" Nabiki replied,"No they damn well won't!" Ranma burst in,holding Kasumi protectively. Nabiki said, "My advice to you,Kasumi,is to become Ranma's slave.For you can benefit from it. Akane certainly has!"
