Ami was nervous. She and twelve other students from her school had been selected due to having a high mitochlorian count. They were taken to a nearby park where a woman in a gray uniform (and another squad of Stormtroopers) was waiting.
"These are they from that particular school?"
"Yes, Ma'am. They all have high mitochlorian counts. This particular girl-" The Stormtrooper pointed at Ami. "-has the highest count of them all."
"Good. Fall in."
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Children," said the female officer, turning to the students. "My name is Lieutenant Khamil Pix. You have been chosen because your mitochlorian counts are very high. A high mitochlorian count represents a potential for certain talents which you will need to be trained in. These particular talents are very valuable to the Empire. The Emperor has commissioned for bodyguards who do not look like bodyguards. I, myself, have been trained as one of them."
Ami was nervous as was the other girls in the group. The boys, on the other hand, seemed extremely interested. Ami noticed a strange cylindrical device attached to the female officer's belt (a lightsaber).
"Of course, there are a few other jobs that can be assigned to you, such as assassin or a Jedi Hunter. Jedi are the scum of the universe and account for attempting to steal our current Emperor's life as well as take over the government. They are the primary reason why there is no peace in our galaxy."
Lt. Pix continued to tell them the evils of the Jedi and the wonders of working for the Emperor.

"Welcome back, Mara Jade," greeted Emperor Palpatine in a wheezing voice. He sounded sick, but not too sick.
Mara Jade, the Emperor's Hand, bowed to her master and then straightened.
"Although you just came back from a mission, I have another lined up for you." He proceeded to explain that he had a son and that he sent Vader to go and retrieve him. "Unfortunately, I have a feeling that my wife may have secreted him away from Lord Vader's reach. I am sending you and twelve more Star Destroyers to aid him."
"Yes, my Master," responded the beautiful assassin. She turned to leave, but stopped when he called her.
"Mara," wheezed the aging man. "If you meet up with Lt. Pix, tell her to train her blue-haired student to be a bodyguard. The new Emperor will have need of her."
"Of course, Master."
