There was a sound of a spatula hitting the floor as Konatsu dropped what he was working on. (As he still had considerable trouble making an edible okonomiyaki, this wasn't a great tragedy.)
"Y-y-y-y-you... WHAT?!"
Shampoo licked her lips. "Hmmm. Didn't realize Spatula Girl wear Chapstick. Cherry flavor. Hmmm."
"Well, I do work over a hot grill most of the day, and... That's not the point!"
"No," agreed Shampoo, "point is..." and Shampoo put in her explanation of having part of Ranma as opposed to be cut out altogether. "Of course, Akane is main obstacle, so if Spatula Girl want cut out entirely, is okay."
"Ukyo-sama, you were plotting to seduce Akane and thereby become Ranma's mistress," brought up Konatsu, who was still trying to decide whether to be jealous or amused by this turn of events.
"Anyway, need to go see Violent Pervert Girl and Ranma-airen. Think Akane this far from agree," said Shampoo holding a forefinger and thumb an inch apart. "Shampoo could tell when hugging Akane - she get very hot and bothered - even more so than Ranma-airen!"
After watching the bouncy Amazon, err, bounce out of the restaurant, Ukyo shuddered a few times and tried to figure out what her next move should be - bathing sounded really good right now.
