And that nice genie Mihoshi had been good enough to add that little, teensy weensy, hardly worth any concern at all, extra bonus clause tucked away in the bottom corner where nobody would notice unless they spent hours poring over the flyers.
"Any contestants who fail to break the enchantment shall become Ranma's mistresses upon the successful dispelling of the curse."
After all, it wouldn't do for any of the girls to go away emptyhanded. And her boy could handle a couple dozen extra girls!
