"You'd better drink this," Princess Usagi said as she held a cup on a saucer in front of the Senshi. "I know that Irish Coffee is not exactly the best, but with the way you're acting, you need a bit of caffeine to get you alert, but something to help you relax as well."
"I... Thank you?" Pluto murmured, uncertain on how to take the development.
"You're welcome. But you know, you could use a vacation. I mean, I know that you're a workaholic, but..."
"What?"
"You relax so much more when you let yourself go and get some private time with your guy."
Surprised in the middle of her sip, the Time Senshi wound up with cream up her nose.
"She's always doing that..."
Ranma wasn't quite sure that he exactly knew how things were supposed to go. Okay, so now he had a wolf, a dragon, and an Amazon Akane around, but they weren't quite the worst he'd ever seen. He was just rather amazed that things were going so... easily, since he had a lot of people around him who'd proven to be rather high up in the power structure of all things. And it seemed that people kept on dropping by all the time to see him.
"Oh, Ranma!" called out a feminine voice, but this time he knew that it was not from a fiance.
"Mom?!" he blurted, turning just in time to find himself in a hug.
"My dear son. It's so wonderful to see you! I was told that you would be hear, and I'm so glad that it's true!"
"Umm... Yeah... You were told?"
"By the nice young man with the wings and the quiver of arrows. He thought that it might be nice for me to come to your party. I must say, it's amazing."
"Well... ya can say that..."
His mother let him go, but kept him in arm's reach as she looked to the young woman standing next to him. "And who is this?"
"She's sorta... my new fiancee..."
"Another fiancee?"
"Yeah. Mom, meet Amaterasu Omikami. Amaterasu, this is my Mom."
"Nice to meet you," the deity greeted.
"A... goddess..." Nodoka murmured. "That goddess?"
"I am. Your son made a wish, I decided to grant it, and thought that I would like him as my husband."
"What of the other girls?"
"Them? I suppose that they'll still want him. Why, that Amazon Akane's been after him for a while now. And then there are there's that devil hunter girl, and so on... But I'm sure that they won't be able to push us apart."
"I see..."
"But it's not like I planned this!" the pigtailed boy tried to put in.
"I know dear. But I am also sure of one other thing."
"What's that?"
"My son is engaged to a goddess and pursued by so many girls?" his mother cheered, even bringing out the victory fans, "MY SON IS SO MANLY!"
"Oh man..."
"Is she always like this?" Amaterasu asked.
He just sighed heavily, and covered his face with one hand while:
