"So where exactly will you need to go for this little mission of yours?" asked Kisaka as he took a sip of his coffee.
"When Edward sent his message to Eight, he also attached a map." Lowe connected Eight to a bigger screen to reveal a map of North and South America. Two arrows stood out on the map. One of them had the square end touching a Canadian city formerly known as Brampton, located in the heart of Atlantic Federation territory and the pointed end at the California/Mexico border. The second arrow started from where the first arrow left off and pointed to Panama. Certain dates also appeared on the map along with miniature notes such as 'October 14: Security Check'.
Kisaka blinked when he saw what Eight had projected. "What is this? A transport route?"
"Yeah. By the file's format, I'm sure that this is a travel plan for the mobile suits that Edward spoke of. The final destination seems to be Panama. They probably would have taken a direct route but Eight said that there were certain items that they needed to pick up along the way for the suits. It's even indicated in some dates." Lowe pointed out a small note which said 'October 20: Picked up more ammo for Buster Dagger in Fairfield, Iowa'.
Kou spoke next and pointed to where the first arrow pointed to and the second arrow took off. "The next stop is going to be right here. It even says so on the next date which is November 11, not too far from now. Apparently, they'll be picking up one last piece of equipment for the Forbidden Blue before moving out to Panama. If we're going to try and pull this off, we'll have to move fast."
Kisaka frowned slightly before drinking the rest of his coffee. "I do have some misgivings about this but the possibility of an organization like Blue Cosmos obtaining several powerful mobile suits is too great to ignore. Have you arranged a time and place to meet your partners?"
"Not yet. I'll send out an e-mail back to Jane asking where we can meet up to refine our plan to pull this off," replied Lowe.
The other man nodded. "In that case, once you find out where you need to go, I'll arrange some transport. A word of caution...if you get caught, the Orb Union won't step in on your behalf. Otherwise, it would be a diplomatic nightmare." Before he could go on further, his office phone rang. "Kisaka here."
"Sir? This is the Onogoro Air Control Base."
Kisaka frowned as he wondered why they had called him. "Is there something the matter with Djibril's transport?"
"It's not that, sir. The transport headed out fifteen minutes ago without incident. It's what happened about twelve minutes after that when an orange mobile suit with a pair of swords on its back passed by!"
Before he could think of this, another officer barged into Kisaka's office out of breath. "Sir! An orange mobile suit has just landed near the military administration offices!"
Kisaka hung up the phone before leaving his office to see what was going on. Kou and Lowe quickly followed him outside. When they stepped outside, Kisaka narrowed his eyes at the sight before his eyes. "What the...?"
The mobile suit simply stood there with its blank stare directed at the group below. As Kou considered trying to make a run for his Gold Frame, the cockpit of the suit opened before a woman stepped out to activate the extension system to allow her to reach the ground safely. "Sorry for scaring you like that!"
Lowe blinked in shock when he recognized the woman. "Jane Houston?!?" He didn't even notice another person, a male, exit the cockpit and use the same extension system to get to the ground safely.
Jane simply smiled. "It's good to see you again, Lowe. It took me a while to figure out how to track Eight's unique signature but once I got it, finding you on Orb wasn't too difficult. By the way, I would like you to meet my colleague, Edward Harrelson." She gestured to the man behind her.
"A pleasure to meet you," said Edward politely as he held out a hand to shake.
The Red Frame pilot firmly shook hands with the Earth Alliance ace pilot. "If you're Edward Harrelson...then that suit up there must be your GAT - X133 Sword Calamity mobile suit. Quite a solid piece of work you got there."
Jane turned to Kisaka and gave a small bow. "Colonel Ledonir Kisaka, if I recall correctly from the Alliance military profiles. I do apologize for this sudden intrusion but I needed to speak with Lowe urgently about our mission. Mr. Gear, shall we get down to business?"
Lowe nodded. "Right! I would like you to meet Kou Uramecha, who's gonna be helping us with the little operation you have planned. He looks young but he's really handy when it comes to mobile suits."
Edward blinked. "Are you talking about the kid who's currently drooling over my Sword Calamity?" Lowe glanced over at the young Coordinator and sure enough, a small amount of drool had escaped Kou's mouth as his eyes soaked in every detail of Edward's mobile suit.
