Lamp Of Mihoshi/Sleeping Ranma: Of Demon Hunters and Grave Diggers [Episode 14085]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

Yohko Mano ran down the hallway she was in, covering great distance while at it. She wanted to get to find the sleeping Prince as soon as possible. She wasn't safe anywhere here. Before at least she might TRY and leave the castle and rest outside if she had to back-track, but now because of the spoiled brat she would no longer be safe even outside because the outside was one huge obstacle course of death. She now considers herself lucky enough to have gone into the castle when she did, lest she be stuck outside trying to fight her way to just make it to the casle!

"I should have stayed at home!" Yohko grumbled to herself as she continued her sprint. Still, she knew this was her calling. Once she had awoken the sleeping 'prince' they would be knocking boots 'til the cows came home live happily ever-after, fighting demonms, and being able to live off the dowry/horde of treasure the, (in Yohko's opinion) soon-to-be-dead uncute scarlet dragon was holding.

So caught up was Yohko in her ideas that she did not realize she had run into a large boar. Looking at the black-furred beast that was turning itself to face her, Yohko began to sweat. "Oh... Bloody..."

"BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" The boar let off an inhuman squeal of anguish as it tried to raise on its hind legs to look more intimidating. And intimidating it was, as Yohko turned heel and RAN!

"Don't wanna die, don't wanna die, DON'T WANNA DIE!!!" Yohko repeated to herself as she ran, boar charging behind her. She made a mental vow that if she got out of this, she would never eat her grandmother's sweet pork cutlets again!

(------)

Meanwhile, in another part of the castle, Brianna, Venus, and company walked down the hallway which from the layouts the Ninja Peebo sent, they knew would be the way into the uncute scarlet dragon's lair. They hadn't run into another obstacle since that large suit of armor that Genn was 'feeding' from Venus behind had come to life and they had to put it down. Now Brianna's trigger-finger was feeling itchy as they had yet to face with another threat.

"Hey Artemis, why don't you just head home?" Brianna asked as she looked down at the white cat by her feet.

Artemis sighed. "Because, I can't just leave Minako here, and she refuses to face facts. She can't win against this menace, yet she wants to continue forward."

"I am not leaving without a boyfriend!" Venus said, while she was still hanging on Genn.

Brianna smirked. "Boyfriend? Excuse me, but did you read the flyer? It's true love! This is the kind of stuff where you're married on the spot!"

Venus was shaken slightly, but she held onto her resolve, (and Genn). "Okay, so we'll have to get married... I can... Deal... I just don't want to be alone anymore! I NEED A MAN!"

Before they could talk further they heard screaming. Brianna aimed the plasma rifle down the corridor. It was then they saw a girl in a tight red dress with a yin-yang on it turn the corner towards where they were. (The girl somewhat reminded Brianna of Empress Lynn). Following the girl was a large, ANGRY black boar!

"HELP MEEEEEEEE!!!" Yohko screamed as she ran. She did NOT want to become a part of this whacked-out, evil palace.

Brianna raised her rifle. "HIT THE DIRT!"

Yohko saw the girl raise the weapon and ducked to the ground, hoping the boar would not crush her. She heard the weapon go off and she felt a tremendous wave of heat above her, followed by a squeal of pain.

Getting off from the groujnd, Yohko turned around and saw a slightly charred boar laying against the wall at the other end of the hallway, at the corner. She looked at her savior and saw it was a tall women with armor, and she was accompanied by a bronze-skinned girl with horns and platinum hair whom had a blonde girl in an orange sailor hanging off from her. There was also a white-furred cat with a crescent moon tattoo on its forehead with them.

"Thank you. You saved my life..." Yohko managed to say. She then cringed as she head an angry squeal again. The boar was still conscious and running towards them again!

And then, a square underneath the bore lit-up and it vanished from the hallway in a flash of light. "What the heck?" Brianna asked, syurprised she wouldn't have to fire off another shot.

Artemis blinked. "There are teleportation squares here TOO?"

Then it was Yohko's turn to blink in shock. "A talking cat!?"
