"Ah. That's an excellent choice. O.R. Portable. That handheld can play any game from any hand-held system."
"What about the game?" Shinji asked.
"It's one of those games where you can train a girl to a destiny that can help her save the world. Sort of like a cross between Sims, Ultima, and other RPG's. There is also a feature where you can look through the eyes of the girl that you are actively training and take direct control. Actually, have you seen any Sentai shows?"
"Er. Yes. Why?" Shinji replied in confusion.
"Each Sentai member has their own power. What this game does is allow you to train five girls in different ways and them bring them together as a team. If your team is put together properly, you should have an easy time winning the game. I don't know why it is over here in the adult section though."
Shinji looked at the game bundle and rubbed the back of his neck. "The system itself is why I'm buying this."
The wizard nodded and rang up the sale. "A couple words of advice: try the game out. You might like it. When you do try it out, it's easier if you base your first team off of people you know and see where they might go."
"Okay. Thanks for the advice."
"You are quite welcome."
The SRU Wizard watched Shinji go and thought to himself, 'I do not allow my stuff to go into homes for the mental unstable. Anything I do to him, would be an improvement. There is no challenge to hurt him. But, it would be quite a challenge to get him to act decisive.'
As soon as Shinji got back to the apartment, he opened the package up and looked through the instructions to the system.
"Yeesh. This little handheld holds over two hundred thousand terabytes of ram and that's just the start of its hardware capacity? I wonder what the game's memory itself is like?" Shinji muttered to himself.
He plugged the game into the console and turned it on. As the starting credits were playing, Shinji read through the instruction manual. The first thing he did was disable the start-up screen, before he looked at the character creation part.

"It's obvious who zero and two are going to be," Shinji muttered.
He followed the detailed character creation. By using its advantage and disadvantage base, he was able to create backgrounds similar to Asuka and Rei's. He put Rei Ayanami in the zero slot and Asuka Soryu Langley in the two slot.
"I see what that old man meant. The details in this game are extraordinary. It would take me too long to come up with five different girls on my own. That mystery path fits Rei perfectly.

"Well, I only know four other girls," Shinji said. "It looks like I might be able to assign a tech support person."
As his understanding grew, he was able to fill out the character creation a bit faster with each girl. The one he put in slot one took him longer, because he put in more details.

"I have no idea on what Hikari's skills are, so I guess the Open path is the way to go with her. If I get to name the tech assistant, she'll be called Ritsuko. Now I need to come up with uniforms for them."
Shinji plunked away at the controls until he was able to get the pictures of girls to look like their namesakes. Curious about the capabilities of the game, Shinji decided to see if the game was able to come up with the plug-suits that Rei and Asuka wore.
"This game is very detailed," Shinji said, shaking his head. "The picture look just like Rei and Asuka in their plug-suits. Since this is a sort of Sentai game, I guess I should give them somewhat the same outfit, save in different colors. Hikari will be yellow. Maya will be green. Blue will be Misato's color. I could have gone with purple or indigo, but I like the primary color scheme."
Shinji shook his head at seeing what looked like Maya, Misato, and Hikari wearing plug-suits on the display screen.
"It looks like I'm ready to play the game. I have my team together. It looks like this game is in real time. I have a few hours before bed, so which one do I start with?"
