As she let her wings carry her higher, Sango wondered what 'power lines' were, but could tell that it was important to avoid them. Her friend would certainly know when to do such things, and she wasn't about to make the mistake of dismissing any warnings. The best plan she had was to avoid everything, as she wasn't quite sure of what anything was.
Fortunately for her, seeing girls flying in the sky was becoming a rather familiar sight, what with all the changes. After all, with just the girls becoming angels and succubi, there was a major increase in the amount of female unassisted flight, especially with newly changed girls. So, her sense of dislocation was something that could be excused without having to resort to informing anyone of where she'd come from.
However, she found that she liked to fly. This wasn't like when she rode Kirara, as then she was always bearing a desire to not tire her friend, and it was simply supporting her in the air. But this was just her and the sky, and she was discovering a sort of freedom that she hadn't had even before her clan had been killed. For a lot of her life, she was stuck with the responsibilities that came with growing up as a demon hunter. Now she could get a wonderous view of the land that her friend Kagome had come from. It was much different than the small towns of wood and stone that she knew, but it had its own amazing glories that she could only find one problem with.
There was nothing that she could recognize that would allow her to figure out how to get back to Kagome's home.
"This is not good," she muttered to herself.
"I hope that she'll be okay..." Kagome murmured.
Inuyasha frowned at the way she seemed to crowd in on him, and settled for a shrug. "She's got a lot of experience in taking care of herself. She can handle it."
"Yeah, but that was five hundred years ago. Things have changed a lot since then."
"Yeah, I should know. But I learned to deal with it, didn't I?"
"Sure, but it hasn't always been smooth."
"I try, okay?"
"I know that you do," she told him, and didn't even seem to notice as she held onto his arm. "I'm just worried about her."
"Umm... She only left a little bit ago. We'll give her time, okay?"
"Hmm... Sure."
"Great," the half demon allowed, finding it hard to be negative when dealing with her hopeful look, while:
