Hunters of the Five Stars ½!: Starting It All Over Again! [Episode 141178]

by Dachimura Zeke

Shido sighed as his body finally gave in to gravity, exhausted. The battle against the Lordess of the Five Stars had nearly killed them all, and had depleted his entire magical energies, but it was over now.

He looked around, checking his companions. Jupei was floating above him, worried about his safety. Shina was holding her chest, with Damon making sure she was alright. Zan was still stuck to the wall, and Sirla was draining the energies holding him in order to release him. Hokkai was breaking the cage surrounding them all, with Maken’s help. And Kazu was staring at Damiya’s cold body, emotionless.

He got up, still breathing hard. “So… we won, right? The Lordess was destroyed?” Jupei jumped on him, happily.

“Sure did, m’boy! That devil lady won’t be attacking this world so soon!” he cried, laughing. Shina approached him.

“You know… Damiya still has the Seal, doesn’t she? Won’t that mean we could have a new Lord or Lordess?” she asked, worried. Sirla shook her head, quietly.

“The Seal only works once per generation. We won’t have to worry about it until the next Hunters come… in a distant future.” Zan turned his head towards her, angrily. “And I know what you’ll say, Zan… but we can’t do anything about it. We are just the Spirits of the Jewels, you know,’ she added, without looking at him. Kazu approached Shido.

“You remember what caused all this destruction, right? The wish Damiya made, in order to maintain the Medallion… it is time for this cycle to end. We cannot let something like this happen again… not while we still have time.” Shido nodded, before looking at Damiya.

“She wasn’t fully aware of what would happen, though… and neither did we.” He looked at Kazu angrily. “Why couldn’t you tell us what the Medallion truly were? Why did we have to fight against the Shadow Stars, if it was all for naught? Why do we have to suffer through these things?”

Kazu lowered his head, somberly. “I am very sorry, Shido, but the Medallion sealed us all. We are forced to do this… until the cycle finally breaks, and the parallels are shattered.” Shido kept staring at him, before approaching the Medallion.

“This entire mess was our fault. We must end it now,” he whispered darkly, before cutting his own finger.

Jupei was surprised. “Wait a moment, kid… you really going to do that? No backing down?” Shido nodded, as he noticed the others doing the same; Shina cut her throat, Zan slashed his arm, Hokkai smashed his own ear. Shido approached Damiya and cut her hand, covering her Tiara of Sundo with it, as he felt his own blood covering the Ring of Daian he wore, before it burst onto flames. All around, similar effects happened, in the sign of breezes, freezing, quakes, and brightness. The older spirit cried out, happily. “Yes! I can live with you and all the other cute girls! Yay!” The others shared similar happiness. Kazu, as always, was emotionless.

Casting off his Ring, Shido picked up the Medallion, and stared at the face inscribed on it. “I wish that the Medallion of the Five Stars, the Five Stars, and all related items are cast away from this realm, until they are no more!” he said in a clear voice, calmly.

The Medallion shined before activating its magic, and flying upwards, breaking through the cave, and reaching the skies, before turning into a star. All around the world, thousands of similar stars flew upwards, a pale light illuminating them. Five dark stars flew as well, leaving this realm… forever.

On another plane of existence, a young half-Genie called Dekima Sato was checking his paperwork when he noticed several magical signatures approaching his office fast. Looking upwards, he noticed it was a medallion, with an aura of desire surrounding it.

Dekima merely took a big book out of his drawer and started looking through it.

After several minutes, he had reached a consensus on what he’d do. He put a hand forward, aimed at the medallion, and sighed. “This is going to Earth, on several timespaces, in order to initiate its mischief in the actual year. And it’s going to start… now.” With that, he took out a hammer from his other hand, smashed the medallion, scattering the gems on its surface throughout Earth, each one entering a time portal, so it could reach its proper time for finding.

Dekima then gazed at the screen on his wall. His eyes boggled as he noticed who’d starting the whole mess. “Argh… it just HAD to be Ranma Saotome!” he grumbled, before smashing the medallion several times, opening a hole on his office and seeing where it would land. “Eh… stupid temples.”

Ranma was running on a fence, having just escaped another attack from Ryouga. ‘Stupid Pig-boy and his constant desire to kill me! What did I do this time?’ he wondered, before he finally managed to escape Ryouga’s field of vision. ‘Well, better think of a plan soon… that new version of the Bakusai Tenketsu might even be the one thing that will defeat me if I don’t do anything! What am I saying! I’m Ranma Saotome, and Ranma Saotome never loses!’ With that encouraging thought, he stepped forward…

And tripped on a ring.

“AH!” he screamed, surprised, before recovering balance and sidestepping another blast of pebbles sent towards him. He quickly looked at the item that made him trip and noticed it was a ring. With a pretty red gem on it… Was that a powerful energy he was feeling?

He quickly grabbed it, and put it on before rolling under a flying kick. “Come on, Ryouga, can’t we argue this like two normal guys and wait until the other can react?” he told the directionally-challenged boy, trying to divert his attention.

Ryouga wasn’t falling for that one, however. “HA! You are only saying that because I’m winning! Say it Ranma, you are losing!”

Ranma bit his tongue as he looked at the ring in his index finger. ‘Let’s see if this thing can do anything…’
