Genie Ring: Prince Ranma's Meet and Greet [Episode 14128]

by Valor Phoenix

The Tendou family was unaware of anything except what was on TV for one simple reason.

The parade and Ranma were not going to the Tendou Dojo, nor even Nerima. This was a political meeting, and as such Ranma was meeting with the representatives of Japan and any other nation that wished to participate on short notice by sending their Japanese envoys along. Not all foreign ambassadors to Japan had accepted the invites to a strange Japanese conference but many had.

Those that arrived for the until then secret event were not disappointed.

The dark elf maidens were joined by similarly colored Viera, though their bunny ears and lack of sunlight blocking cloaks made them much more visible. Their figures with the distinctive dusky skin and white hair would be remembered vividly by many a male, especially as they were wearing their distinctive lace pattern styled plate armor that looked like so much black lingerie. Their weapons and hooded gazes would dispel that image somewhat as each Viera bore a stowed long bow, sheathed sword, and a spear held as part of their parade march.

The parade down the cleared street was still ongoing, but as the prince was arriving via dragon air, he was already approaching the park where the meeting was to take place. Accompanying the prince was a small wing of elite calvary wyrven riders, each riding a different species of lesser dragon that were similar mostly in the way each had own a pair of wings and hind legs for limbs.

The prince by comparison was riding a true dragon, the distinction being partly in the way that particular creature also had forelegs. The other principle difference between the dragon and wyrvens though was simply that the wyrvens were the size of fighter jets whereas the dragon had a wing span more in tune with a passenger jet.

The wyrven riders landed first, taking up positions at the junction where the street met the park. There they formed ranks on either side of the street and faced inwards so that the procession would pass between them.

Following their landing was the red dragon the prince was riding in, though this beast landed two intersections over from the wyrvens perpendicular to the parade route. Wing braking to a controlled hover to descend in the somewhat cramped intersection, the gathered native ambassadors were treated to a rather spectacular view.

Besides simply being huge, the beast moved with a grace that certainly not associated with a large creature. The landing was similar to the grace of a crane, whereas on the ground it gave the impression more of a tiger on the prowl. Of course the Japanese had anime, and the dragon Shooting Star from the Lodoss Wars gave them a firm reference to the dragon, including being correct about its flame breath and tendency to enjoy volcanoes.

The similarities stopped there however as this dragon had not only the vermilion scales expected of a red dragon, but gleaming golden scales that formed runes on the red background. Unaware of the significance of such, the dignitaries instead focused on the rider seated upon a throne styled seat above the dragon's shoulders. More than one emissary wondered how the rider had managed for the hovering descent, much less the rest of the ride.

As the red dragon approached the gathered wyrven riders, the ambassadors were surprised to note an equally large gleaming golden dragon approaching the intersection from the opposite direction of the red. Because of their focus on the prince carrying dragon, they had neglected to note the metallic golden one landing at an opposing intersection.

Having been informed that the prince would arrive atop the 'large red dragon', there was some confusion as the gold dragon entered the intersection first despite how the wyrven calvary had parted for both dragons. Wonders continued not to cease as the golden dragon glowed, shrank and then resolved into a western styled blond princess. Elf ears withstanding, she was a fairly stereotypical fair skinned, honey-blond in an ornately fancy white dress.

The beautiful blond moved over to the right foreleg of the red dragon and helped the prince down before taking her position as escort. This was apparently to allow the red dragon to transform into a beautiful woman as well. While also a blond, though of a lighter shade, they were otherwise like night and day. The red leather of her outfit and her dusky skin contrasted against her light colored hair. The outfit itself was fairly on the indecent side, being little more than a corset, thong, thigh high boots with high heels and shoulder length gloves, all done in the same red as the scales of her dragon form. Further separating her from the other dragon turned blond, she retained a pair of red draconic wings which she wrapped around her body to provide a faint hint of modesty.

As the two blonds now flanking the prince moved slowly forward with the prince, two more dragons landed in a similar fashion. The first to follow was a silver dragon that turned into a kimono clad lovely with dark blue hair that was almost black. From the other side a blue dragon turned into an amazonian woman in rather heavy black armor. Wielding a wicked looking spear and sporting vivid blue hair, the blue was a dramatic contrast to the demure looking silver.

The final pair was lead by a bronze dragon with a hint of verdigris that turned into a dusky skinned brunette elf girl clad in what could only be called a bronze slave-girl bikini. The mischievous looking elf girl was followed by a comparatively small black dragon. Despite being the nastiest looking dragon of the bunch, it turned into a petite shy girl. Pale skin and chin length black hair was complimented by a black and white loli-goth dress, finished with a black scythe that seemed over-sized for the frail looking girl.

The prince, escorted by the now six dragons turned attractive women approached the gathered dignitaries. Behind them the elven calvary and then the ogres parted, allowing the back ranks of the parade to go past them. As Genma and even Ranma knew that the land they were visiting traditionally had samurai and ninja, they were also represented.

This became apparent as a full compliment of armored and armed samurai made their way past the elves and ogres, each samurai armor carrying a proud banner upon the back. The colors of the samurai armor and various clan symbols indicated that there were quite the number representing their clans.

Along with the samurai came the ninja, though these were all clad in business black. The did not follow the samurai, for they were apparently playing the ground is lava. Instead they ran across the tops of the buildings, street-lamps, signs, and even the sides of the buildings. As they reached the park itself, they took up roost in the trees, as if they were only so many ravens descended to watch over the proceedings.

As the parade finally started to take up final positions in the park, the diplomats were finally able to greet the prince and his retinue on live, now world-wide, news.

Of course a major factor in the meeting was that Ranma is...
