Feeling their goal close at hand, the girls went a little overboard. Akane appeared, ready to fire-breath all those hussies after her man, only to take a deluge of sailor attacks, heavy-duty technological firepower and divine retribution. Even an uncute scarlet dragon has its limits and the wyrm collapsed.
The 'Save Ranma Team' rushed to the sleeping prince's bedchambers and things went straight to Hell. The candidates fought among each other to reach the prince's crystal coffin. A few minutes after the fight started, Akane's remaining minions joined the fray as well. A chaotic melee ensued.
Sailor Pluto, Uranus and Neptune were trying to keep the other senshi from going further when the guardian of time was sent flying by a stray explosion. She saw that she was going to crash on the coffin and prepared for pain.
Be it Fate, Ranma's strange luck, pure randomness or someone's plan, the coffin opened just in time for Setsuna to land on the prince lips first.
Sailor Pluto's mind screamed in horror for 0.26 seconds then the geas put on her by Neo-Queen Serenity about ensuring Crystal Tokyo's existence was lifted along Ranma's curses.
The fight gound to a halt and dead silence reigned in the tower. The church bells rang and light from heaven blessed the new couple. Akane's minions howled as they returned (painfully) to their normal selves. Ranma woke up and gently embraced the woman who saved him.
Setsuna Meioh, AKA Sailor Pluto, gazed lovingly in her now-destined husband's eyes. She turned to look at the others and declared with all the passion she could muster (that was a lot since it kept building up during those lonely centuries) "SCREW CRYSTAL TOKYO !" and glomped her prince while trying to reach his tonsils with her tongue.
