As soon as Sasami and Hotaru kissed Ranma, the 'sleeping beauty' enchantment went to work on Ranma and his two true loves. As it was told by Mihoshi when all this started, all curses and other afflictions were lifted.
Ranma was cured silmutaneously of his Jusenkyo curse, the Neko-ken, the karmic curse laid on all practitioners of Anything Goes, having Genma Saotome as a father (come on, it's a curse in itself, really !) and several other little things in his system acquired during his 10 years training trip. His body changed for the better as malnutrition and bad treatment during childhood were erased. Old brain damage and genetic defects were gone as if they never existed.
Hotaru's frail physical condition, a direct result of being the wielder of the Silence, was now a thing of the past. Her body was enhanced to allow her to withstand her awesome power without anymore side effects. The geas of obedience to the Serenity line was dispelled and Sailor Saturn's link with the ginzuishou severed. She was now her own girl without external influences polluting her mind or restraining her status as a sailor senshi.
Sasami's link with Tsunami was left intact since it was the only thing keeping her alive. No curse hanged over her so the spell didn't touch her much except for small details.
Each of them was granted a glimpse at each other's soul. Sasami's kindness, purity and bright outlook on life. Ranma's noble heart, sense of honor and amazing willpower. Hotaru's gentleness, self-sacrificing nature and innocence. A bond between the three was forged now and forever.
Now the spell started to work on the 'Happily ever after' part. Ranma was now almost married to two powerhouses. It knew that the power gap between them and Ranma would be a stumbling block in their relationship. The problem was how to give Ranma a cosmic-scale power-up with the few means at its disposal ? AHA ! The answer laid in the dragon's hoard/prince's dowry, Ryoko's gems ! A nearly-infinite power source that would make him more of an equal to his beloveds. The three gems appeared and grafted themselves on Ranma's body, one on each wrist and the third on the collarbone.
Age seemed to be a problem too. Sasami and Hotaru suddenly growed up physically to the age of sixteen to match their prince. It wasn't a big deal since Sasami was already centuries old thanks to her juraian lifespan and long hibernation, as for Hotaru, she would have been sixteen now already if not for the whole deathbusters/return to infancy affair.
And for Ranma to be able to marry two girls, the solution was simple...
Sasami's clothes and hairstyle changed to those of Tsunami. On her brow, appeared a single spot, marking her as Ranma's first wife by juraian law. Hotaru transformed into Eternal Sailor Saturn and two spots were visible on her forehead. Ranma's chinese clothes was replaced by a black bodysuit, Ryoko style, with blue, purple and gold decorations.
Ranma opened his eyes and gazed at his wives. You could see relief at his freedom and love for the two girls that the Universe designated as his soulmates. They hugged, savoring the moment, wishing it could go on for eternity. You could sense the warm and fuzzy feelings from the happy trio from a long way. A holy light bathed them and a celestial chorus announced their love to all. Ranma kissed them both on the lips, cementing their union...
*Ahem !*
Ranma, Sasami and Hotaru blinked at the interruption of the beautiful moment and turned their heads to see...
