In the Spa At The End Of Time, nobody can hear you scream.
Unless you want them to, that is.
"Just what are those two watching, anyhow? The one in the corner is getting more halogen-freezer by the pico-second!"
The Pluto sighed, looking at her counterpart, or whatever she was. Some Pluto's were somewhat rarer then others, but a Pluto that looked like a 9 year old wasn't all that common, even here.
"A rather interesting timeline, in which the Neo Silver Millenium eventually develops into a Star Empire of some sort, I believe. One of the more interesting ones, actually." "--Galactic Empire, huh? Not the Star Wars sort, I hope..."
Though there were plenty of that sort around too, if they went searching for them, they both knew. The Multiverse was a bloody big place, after all...
"Looks interesting, but...Do you have any interesting timelines to look at, by the way?"
She hoped this Pluto wouldn't be offended by that sort of question. She didn't look like the overly touchy type, or at least not now she didn't, but one couldn't always be a 100 percent sure...
"Sure I do! ...Wanna share a look-see?"
"...I'll be utterly deelighted too..."
Walk don't run, walk don't run, OK now RUN!
Chiba Usagi, not called Chibi-usa now for a while now, ran and ran and ran.
Her life wasn't supposed to be like this.
Really. Truely.
Usagi ran. She had no choice.
It had been 3 years ago--that long? How strange--that she had woken up in a puddle of something that wasn't quite water, right after going to bed after what she had thought was her 11th birthday.
And discovered that almost her entire life up to that point had been a lie.
OK, mustn't be nasty to people who hadn't tried to be nasty to you, really, and had indeed not really existed in the first place--a fiction, then.
She wasn't sure any more that there was any such thing as time paradoxs, any more... But Somebody, or Somebodies, had thought that they needed a certain version of Crystal Tokyo, that much she could guess.
She fingered the glittering piece of crystalline rock that she wore in a pendant, and sighed. This wasn't the Silver Millenium Crystal that she remembered, that much she was pretty sure of, though she wasn't quite sure just what it was supposed to be.
It was quite useful for many things, like gathering infomation, or 'porting small things for short distances, or putting on light glamores. One could also heal or make temporary clothing and such, she had discovered, but it was tiring as all hell frankly...
She wondered if she could ever "transform", though. For some reason, that part felt possible enough, even though she wasn't at all sure just what part of the life she remembered had been "real" and what part not.
Usagi-chan, her not-really-mama-yet/big sis subsitute. Had she been real, someplace, somewhere, at least?
"Isn't it just?"
The nine-year-old looking Pluto looked around, just in case.
The scary one wasn't paying them any attention, at least...
Yet.
